As the president of Gamma-O I would like to tell you all the Chris Cook Story. Let me start by saying we pay all of our athletes and we have never been unfair to any of them. In fact we just added Phil Baroni and Razor Rob to our stable of winners. No one other then Chris has ever been let go. I like Chris as a person and think he is a great guy. I have no animosity toward him.
Gamma-O and Muscular Development were drawing a contract between us and Chris. MD and Gamma-O never signed the deal yet we at Gamma-O were paying him for the use of his picture until the deal was finalized. When I started this whole thing with Chris he was 230 pounds and has not lifted a weight in 8 months. He sold me on the fact that his body needed the rest and he was going to come back bigger, harder and better then ever before. I saw the fire in his eyes and I believe that he would.
During the course of negotiating he came in dead last 3 shows in a row including the Arnold. I spoke to Chris about his conditioning after the first show (IronMan) and offered to hire the services of John O’reagan who helped me when I was competing as well as some top ranked pros that Chris knew. Chris said he had it under control and then came in soft for every show. I see the potential in Chris and think he will go far in the sport when he learns to dial in. I can not afford to pay someone while they are learning. MD was first to back out then without them we could not afford Chris on our own. We have many athletes on our team and all are getting paid.

This should be interesting. FWIW I think Cook has the structure to be an elite guy, just has to figure out the right mixture.
-
That seems reasonable. I still believe in Chris though. He just needs more time.
The Rhino is avaibale for replacement.......
-
Man, I don't even like Chris Cook and I hate your guts after reading this.
Face it: your business judgement crapped out. Man the fug up and own that, why don't you?
-
The Rhino is avaibale for replacement.......
I've never really considered trying any Gamma O products. But hell, if you supported team Rhino I'd give them a shot.

id would buy the product if it had a rhino on the cover
-
I see a rhino as an aggressive, fearless, almost bulletproof animal that could take down anything in its way.
Really does match the athlete Rhino - www.londonisburning.com, as that guy is massive, a business monster, and his shape is sick... diced 12 weeks out.
Plus they both end in "O". Now show em your "O" face.

So if you fired Chris' fat arse, why is he on the front page still? Not nuf $ to pay your web monkey to take it off?
“This stuff (Gamma-O) is incredible! My workouts are more intense and I can really push myself to the edge. I have gained 8 pounds the first month [on slin, gh and mad roids] and leaned out so I know it is all muscle. Gamma-O is by far the best supplement [aside from the roids and other "suppliments"] I have ever taken. Gamma-O has been the missing ingredient in my training regiment [to loosen my bowels after feeding my face full of no-fiber beef]. I not only use the product, but I am a strong believer in its potential to revolutionize the supplement world [for all the 16 year old geeks who don't know any better],” says Chris Cook.
LOL, that's pretty much spot-on. ;D

Would you say lying about an athlete's contest history to make your case for backing out of a good faith contract "fair?"
-

This is not a true statement - while Chris' conditioning was a factor in his shows, he was not dead last in all three shows.

Ironman Pro Invitational - IFBB, 10th
San Francisco Pro Invitational - IFBB, 12th

On a whole, Atletes are overpaid ...(with bb on the bottom of that totem pole) but in the real world if your ass was paid to be a vp and your handling business like some schome in the mail room, your ass wouldnt make it to lunch much less have three more chances to redeem yourself...Chris Cook sucks, tough shit...BB is your job, and you got caught sleeping on your desk...

Unless there was something in his contract that specified him being paid based on placings - you're a little off on your logic here. Comparing a bodybuilder who competes and places out of the top 5 to a VP isn't quite the same. Now if Chris' contract said you will not be paid your monthly income if you compete and place out of the top 5, then so be it but I highly doubt it.
What about Chris' video footage that Gamma-O still refuses to return to Chris? Was this part of the agreement as well?
-
John O’reagan is a tool! Why would you enlist his help?

Jack, can you actually handle another endorsement contract?
Or is it true you're saving for one of these....(see below)

Only Mr. Napolitano - a legitimate buisnessman, I'm sure - and whoever read the contract to Chris know for sure. But don't these things usually have a "you can't show up to guest posings looking like a pale tubby beeyotch" clause somewhere?
-
"MD and Gamma-O never signed the deal yet"
According to the G-O Prez, there never was a contract.
If that's REALLY the case, Cook has no suit.
It's all about the contract........

I believe the photos of Chris that were posted were BEFORE he was with Gamma-O. Also if guest posing out of shape were an issue, many bodybuilders would no longer have contracts.

You'er a photog who has been to many many NPC shows.
Can you post ONE picture where an IFBB athlete looks that bad while guest posing?

I can always handle another, enough to go around....
That "RHino" in silver is cool. I should put that on a shirt.......

Not all pros can look awesome all of the time. Chris just needed some more time. I'd never actually heard of this 'gamma o'. Probably shit products being pushed by pencil necks.
-

I'd have to look but I'm sure I could find one.
Do I agree with pros guest posing out of shape? No, but it has nothing to do with this topic. Everyone knows a bodybuilder has an offseason and it's their choice to guest pose in that condition. It's how many of them make money.
The problem is when a bodybuilder shows up for competition looking like they are still on their offseason. Which Gamma-O is saying that Chris didn't show up in his best condition, he's no longer on their roster. Tough company - many pros should be happy their endorsement deals aren't like this.

Arnold Classic - IFBB, 15th
Ironman Pro Invitational - IFBB, 10th
San Francisco Pro Invitational - IFBB, 12th
19 others placed lower than him in the Ironman
14 others placed lower than him in the SF Pro

I've seen pics of guys guestposing when fat, but they were bulking and carried a lot of muscle too. Chris looks like he hasn't touched a weight in 8 months there.

Ummmm, I'm gonna agree with Issac on this one, hell, you would think at a certain point, you should know exactly what to do to bne in shape, I do. And I would never step onstage out of shape/for a show, I'm not even confortable at guest posing, being to far out.
If you are lucky enough to get paid to do what you love, you should work your hardest to be the best, and companies should/could demand that.
I personally think he has always been overated, but thats just my opinion.
-

Yes, but I'll bet NONE of them had contracts...with anyone.

Amen brother. The fans deserve better, as do the promoters. Let's be honest, no one shows up to see an out of shape bber.

Imagine leasing a porshe for a car show and when its the day of the show it comes to you with Fast Food garbage in the interior and Brid shit all over ... Id be mad too...
I dont know what was on his contract perse, I myself am quite versed in Contracts Law..but im not going to get into where I went to school..never the less as employers they should value thier endorsements as assests, for as they depriciate in value so does the value of advertising power that representative has in the market they are targeting. With that said, I am not surprised if Gamma O would have stipulations granting the company that liberty of letting the athlete go because of failure to place in Pro Shows..

On his PBW episode, Cook made himself sound like the hardest worker out there. Based on the picture, I don't see how that could be true - no matter how inept his preparation was.
He's completely over-rated. Let's not forget the Krakatoa of booing that erupted when he was awarded first at the Nationals.

exactly, it's just common sense, you get paid to look great, if you don't then they will find someone who does. It's that fucking simple.
Pay me big money, see how much better I get, with each dollar. You could bet your booty, I'm not gonna fuck that up.

CHRIS WAS NOT A GOOD FIT.

Yeah, but how many of them were on the cover of Flex restraining the canine ferocity of two big-ass dogs with his mighty bicep development?
-
hey Mark try using your brain instead of your heart. I like Chris to but when your trying to negotiate a contract your placing is everything. BTW he was 16th at the Arnold and there were 16 placings. Dead last. Think Gatoraid would sponsor me to run a marathon if I walk the whole thing and dont place?
Think about it. its a business

Think about this- You went public saying he took dead last in three consecutive shows. If you're so confident that you're in the right, why would you lie to bolster your reasoning for backing out of a good faith agreement? Handle your affairs as you see fit, but don't slander Chris Cook by making up placings.

but don't slander Chris Cook by making up placings.

Okay, link me to the "clinicals" that "prove" it works. I think you are straight up lying. I want solid proof that it works, that it increases testosterone in healthy adult males.

Hey tool anyone who is in this world who anything about bodybuilding knows anything out of top 6 is last place.
I dig your approach to customer relations. :D
But I'm not sure I agree. I'm sure Dugdale would soil his trunks with delight to finish 7th at the O.

BTW he was 16th at the Arnold and there were 16 placings.
MuscleMemory (http://musclememory.com/show.php?c=Arnold+Classic+-+IFBB&y=2006) is your friend. He came in 15th.
in other words, if you're going to make exact claims on the internet (finished dead last in 3 contests, came in 16th out of 16th), you better make sure you got your facts straight, as such things are easily checked.
btw, Gamma Oryzanol has been touted as the "next break-through supplement" for 20 years now. I remember buying it in the late 1980s. While it may be a great anti-oxidant, and perhaps help menopausal women having hot flashes, there is no valid scientific evidence that it has any effect on testosterone levels in healthy human males.
Gamma oryzanol is a mixture of sterols and ferulic acid esters. Despite claims that gamma oryzanol or its components increase testosterone levels, stimulate the release of endorphins, and promote the growth of lean muscle tissue, research has provided little support for these claims and has also shown gamma-oryzanol to be poorly absorbed.148 A recent nine-week, double-blind trial of 500 mg per day of gamma-oryzanol in weight lifters found no benefit compared with placebo in strength performance gains or circulating anabolic hormones.149 However, a small, double-blind trial using 30 mg per day of ferulic acid for eight weeks in trained weight lifters did find significantly more weight gain (though lean body mass was not measured) and increased strength in one of three measures compared with placebo.150

hey Mark try using your brain instead of your heart.
Your contract with Chris Cook is non of my business, you are the one who chose to clear the air in a public forum. Actually, I did use my brain and I counted the number of guys Chris beat at the Iron Man and San Fran shows. I guess you were speaking figuratively when you said he placed dead last at his last 3 shows. It's cool, though. I understand it's just business. ;)

I would like to set the record straight as far as MD's position with the Chris Cook, Gamma-O agreement. Gamma-O and Cook negotiated and entered into an agreement and MD was not a party to that agreement. In fact, MD never entered into an agreement with Chris Cook. As part of the Gamma-O -- Cook agreement, Chris agreed that he would do a monthly column. MD did publish some of Chris Cook's columns, but when Gamma-O made the decision to no longer employ Chris as their athlete, MD had no other choice but to terminate his column. The decision to sign Chris Cook was Gamma-O's, and it was Gamma-O's decision to terminate him. As far as John Napolitano stating that MD pulled out first, that is incorrect. We had nothing to pull out of, again the contract was between Gamma-O and Chris Cook and once they decided to terminate, we could no longer continue the column. I felt it was important for MD to also set the record straight.

I understand you terminating Chris Cook from your company which is your right to do so however I do not think it's good form to bad-mouth him on the message boards. The name of the thread speaks volume "Gamma-O Doing Great Without Chris Cook". Very disrespectable. If you were concerned about not having time for him to learn, then why hire a rookie pro???
Now, since you've posted up here, I would have to say the Gamma-O claims have been the biggest bunch of bullshit I've heard about in all my time.
First off, the ads are stating steroid-like result without steroids. These same claims were made years ago when gamma oryzanol came out. A lot of people were pissed off when nothing happenned. It was a mess. Gamma Oryzanol is essentially rice bran oil which is popular in Japan for gernal health purposes but not for really building muscle.
As far as letters are concerned. Any company that makes false or inaccurate claims usually receives a "cease an desist leter" Its essentially a warning to change the advertising of the product. If its not changed then that's where the prosecution comes in.
-

God, I can't believe I am agreeing with Vince ;D
GammaO/John... It is extremely poor business to come running to a message board, that you appear never to have posted on before, and start bad mouthing someone you were doing business with. Even if you did want to announce that you no longer signed Chris, you need only mention that...no need to start getting all into details about him being soft and lying about him coming last in every show.
I would say I will no longer purchase your products because of this, but I would never dream of purchasing the crap you produce anyway so it is fairly fruitless to say this.
-
i wouldn;t sign with gamma o if they offered me a contract tomorrow they suck and so do their products
-
I'm not sure if Gammo-O is doing great, but they are still doing it with Chris Cook!!!!
Check this out

If you're going to trash your athletes and not pay them then don't use them for advertising. This is bullshit!!!
-

With all due respect, Steve, what is that about?
Are you tacitly admitting that Cook's only role in your publication was for Gamma-O? If Cook's "writing" for your magazine had any intrinsic worth, what difference would it make it he was getting a check from them or not?
And keep in mind: I don't even like Chris Cook and I think Gamma-O was smart (in its rat-like survival instincts) to terminate his tubby ass.

I'm confused too... either Cook had good content to share with the world, and belongs on MD pages, or the column is nothing more than a way to make the GammaO ad stand out more when you hit that page.
Better question - how many more of the athletes only have columns because their companies run ads?

A lot of companies do that for lowered advertising so don't hold Steve to this. Its a company agreement

I know it's a company agreement- that is a very vague phrase which is obviously implied.
I am just curious how many athletes' columns in the mag are only there because their company has ads. It does affect the perception by fans, about the quality of material. If they allowed Chris to write, then dropped him when they weren't being paid to "have to" put him on the pages anymore, that kinda casts a shadow on what they thought of him. And, if they didn't like him and let him write anyway for $, it looks like some of their content is also ad space. Then we start to wonder just how many of the articles are force outs. You see why I asked?

I'm glad i now know about this 'gamma o' because i can warn as many people as possible not to waste their money. What a scam. Shit like this is for people that desperatley want to go on the gear but are too scared or can't find a source. Don't bother trying to bring this crap to the Uk, we don't want your snake oil.
[The bodybuilder on the 'gamma o' website looks fantasic. But his gains were from the real goodies available, not junk science nonsense like 'gamma o'. Pathetic].
-
Okay, link me to the "clinicals" that "prove" it works. I think you are straight up lying. I want solid proof that it works, that it increases testosterone in healthy adult males.
Still waiting on a reply to this. If you are talking about the case studies link on your page that's just ridiculous. That ain't science. Gamma Oryzanol is a scam. Period. I can't believe you guys brought back this old-school scam. You could have at least been a bit creative and come up with something new.
-
No, I'm straight, but I'm comfortable enough with myself that I can say he's a good looking guy and it should be obvious that he is more marketable than some other pros we see who just look like mounds of muscle.
I'm not saying that a pro needs to have all of Chris' qualities to be marketable, but what I am saying is that a few poor placings doesn't take away from the marketability he does have.
I'm just busting your balls. I actually started a "handsomest pro" thread a few weeks ago that got moved to the other board.
I agree that Cook is more marketable than, say, Ronnie - even in his Pillsbury Dough Boy mode. [If for no other reason: he's capable of speaking English.] That said, he's never done it for me personally. Always reminds me of Popeye.

So, Chris got WORSE while taking Gamma-O? And they dropped him, because their product made him suck?
Intersting.
Would be a real kick in the teeth if Cook comes back at his next show looking great.
-
I see a rhino as an aggressive, fearless, almost bulletproof animal that could take down anything in its way.
Really does match the athlete Rhino - www.londonisburning.com, as that guy is massive, a business monster, and his shape is sick... diced 12 weeks out.
Plus they both end in "O". Now show em your "O" face.
Business monster? Hardly.
He steals his employers time by posting on this website every day 100 times.
That's really what a company wants to see in someone they endorse.
He doesn't even own his own computer at home.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Gamma-O didn't come out of this thread smelling like roses.
Although I do love his tough guy act.
Business is business....gggrrrr!

everyone is someone's type. no one is everyone's type. Chris is certainly better looking that most pro bodybuilders, but most pro bodybuilders are showing signs of acromegaly. If Chris uses too much GH, he'll lose his good looks, too.

http://www.gammao.com/sponsoredathletes.asp
Nice to know that you don't let a little thing like a J/O video (http://www.musclehunks.com/g-force/index.htm) (or 4) prevent you from sponsoring an athlete.
-
Hey Bob,
You know Chris fairly well. He's been off the bodybuilding.com boards for a while. Do you know if he has been using this as time to bring up his flaws? I know he mentioned that he was after more mass and I think that might not be the way to go b/c he could sacrifice his waist and balance overall. He is a pretty big guy already with enough muscle IMO. Conditioning seems to be the answer for him to get better placings.
-
Chris is still on the Gamma-O home page, btw. If they're not paying him any more, shouldn't he be able to sue them for unauthorized use of his likeness?
-
God, I can't believe I am agreeing with Vince ;D
GammaO/John... It is extremely poor business to come running to a message board, that you appear never to have posted on before, and start bad mouthing someone you were doing business with. Even if you did want to announce that you no longer signed Chris, you need only mention that...no need to start getting all into details about him being soft and lying about him coming last in every show.
I would say I will no longer purchase your products because of this, but I would never dream of purchasing the crap you produce anyway so it is fairly fruitless to say this.
Exactly CQ. There was absolutely no need to bash Chris Cook. It makes Gamma-O look very unprofessional........
-
It's funny how women don't find the same men attractive that straight men and gay men find attractive.
As far as Chris Cook, many women find him very attractive.

Gama O blows and so do their products cook looks like crap right now but not every PRO (he is a pro) looks good 24/7
i wouldn;t use there products or sign a contract if they offered me one right now
I'll stick with the deal rich gaspari gave me and i didn;'t have to sign anything its all in good faith and he is one hell of a guy and i am a fucking nobody

I also agree that this post does seem somewhat unprofessional although I am not really in a position to judge given that I have done the same myself before.

This goes back to what I said about Chris having a marketable look - whether he wins shows or not.

From Cook's website:
Dedicated, focused, and grounded. These three words alone describe how I live my life. Starting at a very young age I entered competitive sports with, wrestling, football, and swimming. The long hours of practicing and dieting for wrestling got me well prepared for the future battles I would face in the competitive world of bodybuilding. Throughout my life I have been a top placing athlete, but not until I entered the Air Force and made Airman of the quarter numerous times did I begin my life long dream of becoming a competitive bodybuilder. I began bodybuilding in June of 1995 while stationed in Anchorage, Alaska at the age of 18. In October of 1996 I decided to compete in the Mr. Anchorage Body Building Championships, this is where I competed in the men’s open division and became the youngest Mr. Anchorage to ever win the title. From here I went on to compete in the Alaska State show in 1999 and won the heavy weight division.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1999, I wanted to become one of the best in the sport, and I decided that California would be the best place to pursue my dreams. While working as an Aircraft Tech in San Jose, California I took a hold of the Sacramento Championships winning the Heavyweight class in 2000. This is where I was first discovered by MRM (Metabolic Response Modifiers) and picked up my first endorsement contract. Unfortunately 9/11 hit and had a huge impact on the aircraft industry and also my current job. This is when I knew I had to move to Los Angeles and make bodybuilding a priority. I started training at Gold’s Gym Venice, and this is where the first stages of my exposure began.
Moving to Venice was a huge step, especially since I had no job and was living on the hope that I could make my dreams come true. Luckily I made it work! Since moving to Venice I have captured the 2002 Contra Costa Heavyweight class title, along with the infamous 2003 USA Super Heavyweight class title. I am still endorsed by MRM supplements along with Weider “Flex Magazine” for publications. These two companies have given me so much and I owe much of my success to their support and kindness.
I truly look forward to what the future has to hold and count the days until I have the opportunity to give back to the sport what it has given me. I thank God every day for what he has handed me thus far in my life, and pray for even better days to come. I must truly thank all my friends, family, and fans for the loyal support and unconditional love. After becoming one of the youngest pros, I will again start setting new standards in the IFBB pro division.

i doubt this guy is even really the president of gamma-o.
if chris stopped doing those gay high reps and light weight with chick, then maybe he would come into a show dense, thick, and hard instead of flat and soft. the results speak for themselves.
chick and chris, both train together doing high reps, and both lack thickness and hardness.
-
As the president of Gamma-O I would like to tell you all the Chris Cook Story. Let me start by saying we pay all of our athletes and we have never been unfair to any of them. In fact we just added Phil Baroni and Razor Rob to our stable of winners. No one other then Chris has ever been let go. I like Chris as a person and think he is a great guy. I have no animosity toward him.
how is this bashing Chris? I said this was business and I like the guy?
-
As for MD I called Steve as did my partner to clear this whole thing up and he still to this day has not called us back since March. Notice we pulled all our ads out.
Steve you have the number call it.
-
oh i agree completely there is grounds for defamation. obviously not worth it, as chris would look bad- crying about what ppl say on the boards? come on... - and the firm could declare bankruptcy and change their name/owner on paper. I was pointing out the commonly made mistake of slander/libel. Both are instances which result in defamation. So we're both right :)
-
There is a lot more to this story - there has to be. First of all, it is who he says he is. I spoke to him today. To make sure, and so that there will no be malicious bashing on this thread.
He is a businessman, and has every right to run his business as he says. If there is no written contract between Chris Cook and Gamma-O, then perhaps this was a month to month deal.
However, on December 8, 2005, it was pretty apparent that there was a deal made, or so it seems, between Chris and Gamma. And in fact, a special page I received says that Chris Cook and Gamma-O have joined forces, including in print that they have signed Chris Cook a 5 year endorsement contract, and Chris has a percentage in Gamma Enterprises. It is right there, in print - so why the change now??? Did I miss something? Just wanted to know if I am not reading it correctly???
Also - a serious question regarding the special tapes that Chris Cook had made in regarding to his preparation and training. WIll those be returned anytime soon? Just respectful questions....
Oh, here is the story with the ad...

CHRIS NEVER HAD A CONTRACT WITH US. WE NEVER SIGNED HIM. TELL HIM TO POST THE CONTRACT WITH MY SIGATURE ON IT.
http://www.gammao.com/aboutus.asp
MY PICTURE IS ON THE SITE FOR THE GUY THAT CALLED ME A PENCIL NECK GEEK. THINK ABOUT THIS MY PRODUCT HAS 78 CLINICALS THAT PROVE IT WORKS BUT WE ALL KNOW STERIODS WORK BETTER AND THEY ARE ABOUT THE SAME PRICE. WE MARKET TO REAL PEOPLE THAT WANT TO SAFELY RAISE THERE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS NOT JUICEHEADS
CHRIS WAS NOT A GOOD FIT.
Be careful what you say....Thats if you want to sign any more "Juice Heads" to advertise your products.. which is every IFBB Pro.....

The title said it all dude... get a clue
-
I came on here to set the record straight and tell everyone that I am far from bankrupt, and that I like Chris but this was a business decision and he NEVER had a contract.
All you people said i was bashing him, but if you look I never said anything bad about him. The fact that I said he came in soft was true and I also said I think when he learns to dial in he will be great.
Bottom line is all of you on this board are not my target audience. We are more main stream. I have not been on the boards for 24 hours and I get it already. you guys love to have someone to hate. before i posted your were all attacking Chris calling him the Cookie Monster. Now I tell my side and you all shift your hate to the new guy. LOL you all make my laugh.
Anyone including Ron knows that I am a business man. Business men don't screw people over because that it bad business. If Chris has a contract signed by me than I would love to see it. If ever Chris wants to call me to work this out and clear then air he can. He has my personal number. My intent was never to do wrong by Chris.
Also remember that we are a privately held company. I did not pony up the 3 million to start this. I have other investors that ask me about every penny we spend. They have voting shares. Sometimes I get over ruled.
Chris is a great athlete and a very smart guy, he will find something else I am sure.
-
Whilst the issue seems somewhat cloudy there would be a copy of this contract lying around somewhere to prove this.
If not well... bad luck for Chris but I agree with this guy's justifications. Its their company and they can have whoever they like endorse it. He hasn't looked all that good atall for a while now.
-

I do not bash people, just made an exception for you because you demonstrated poor taste ;)
I had assumed your products were not geared towards us, but more towards the "newbie". Quite obviously your products are geared towards the poor unsuspecting people who are ready to be ripped off.
I find it hard to understand how you say you are not bashing, yet you posted a total lie about Chris:
During the course of negotiating he came in dead last 3 shows in a row including the Arnold.
-
I posted no lies and I have a great product. I love you intrepid my email as bashing Chris and the product must be bad if it's not geared toward me.
Anyways, if you have never taken steroids or have not in a while Gamma-O works unbelievably well. If you’re comparing it to Sus 250 it's not going to hold up. And I know that Gamma has been around forever and that it has been ineffective in the past. That’s because it was a powder and we made it a liquid emulsion to increase surface area causing the body to be able to absorb it. We also have a 2000mg dose with 80% absorption vs. the old pills that were 100mg and 1% absorption.

No offense but you say this and you also say... "I posted no lies and I have a great product." However you run an ad with Chris Cook saying the direct opposite. The ad's opening paragraph states...
"Gamma Enterprises, LLC, a leading manufacturer of all natural testosterone boosters and aging supplements, today announce that they have signed IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, Chris Cook to a 5-year endorsement contract. Additionally, Chris has acquired an undisclosed percentage in Gamma Enterprises."
These are facts and not bashing, you have an open forum and a captivated audience to set the record straight. Either you're stretching the truth on here or you ran false advertising...
-

Are you sure we're not your target audience?

Great thread! But it's time for Chris Cook to come on and clear the air. After all, it's only fair seeing the heading of this topic: "Gamma-O doing great without Cook".
Chris, speak on this once and for all.
-

Here is what you don't understand about the beauty of the GetBig boards--the members here will call bullshit when they see it. If you post BS then the members will call you on it. They are blunt and to the point. It's not hating at all. It's keeping you honest.

If you are more "main stream" why run ads in MD and negotiate with a bodybuilder in the first place?
Did your investors approve the AD before it ran and agree to giving Chris shares in the company?
We are still awaiting your response on the AD and which is true - the ad or your posts on here...

Interview with Chris Cook on all of this coming out very, very soon. The truth shall come out.

Chris's version of the truth at least ;)
-
Sucks. Why is Chris still on the site?
I would have kept him, he was on a learning curve everyone knew/knows that, he was making a baby and needed a break to go full throttle later. If you kept him you would have been there for him, in the begining and throughout and could have done a comeback series and had storylines of Chris coming back into shape with the help fo your products, people could have related.

I'm more interested in what he has to say about this.

....wow, I'm amazed to see Chris in that kind of shape. Basically, Gammo-O guy and Boss Blechman said their side and Chris hasn't, but really WHO THE HELL CARES. I thought that perhaps Gamma-O guy was retorting to some bashing but I haven't heard anything.
I just wonder why MD would have given Chris a column which only lasted a few months for no other reason apparently than his getting dumped by a supplement company. If that's the reason, then what's up with that, Steve? You've got a guy like Chris Cormier who hasn't placed well in years and yet he still has his column. Simply because MuscleTech ponies up some cash for you to keep him on board? That's 'compassion' for bodybuilders, eh?
Anyhow, I hope Chris figures out that there's more to life than pro bodybuilding and I hope he does well for himself in the future.

I have to agree. I had no idea that this is the way things worked. I thought people got columns, because they (mags) actually thought "X" pro brought something to the mag, not just cause their sponsor wanted them to have one.

well, at least it is nice to know that there are so many gracious businessmen on here who would allow someone they pay to not do the job they pay them to do and continue to pay that person out of the goodness of their heart without a hint of thought about profit and loss or good business. since he is a pro bb'er he should be afforded some specific special rights? well, this thread has been going, it has been sent to him, he hasnt answered it. maybe becuase he knows he will get destroyed by the so-called truth seekers who only call bullshit on here when it is. which is laughable since this is the most hypocritical board i have ever been on.

None of us have a problem with this company deciding to give chris the shaft for whatever reason (it's their money afterall).
But why come on here and announce it the way he did? Show some class, a simple press release would suffice...

I started this post in response to the gamma-o is broke post. I in no way tried to bash or disrespect Chris. The contract Chris has is unexecuted. It was never signed. Even if it was it clearly states that if Cook becomes a finical burden to the company we can let him go. (read that twice so it sinks in)
When we first started the Cook ads you all bashed him. Then we let him go and he's everyones hero? As the Pres of Gamma I have a crazy idea that I want the company to turn a profit. Go figure. What a scum bag I am. I know you all work for free.
The deal with MD was this. They get exclusive rights to Cook in exchange for x number of free pages in the Mag and other perks. We save on the ads and that off sets the cook fee. Steve did not live up to all the things we were promised. We called him for months with no return calls. When we stopped the ads we were still paying Cook. Remember that the whole time I was paying the contracts were not signed and all we did was have him at 2 shows and some pictures. The guy did well. It's not like he dug ditches.
If Chris is really honest in his interview he will tell you that our phone conversation was not an easy one for me to make and I told him I would recommend him and do all I could to futher his career. I never had to let someone go before that I really liked. I had many dinners with him and his wife and I did not want to see this end. Unfortunately, I had to do what was best for the company.
As for the BS pictures you moron's post of him in the off season....I have seen Ronny and Jay look just as bad. That's why it's called off season. We started talking to him after those pictures so that was not the issue. It was purely a return on investment.

John Napolitano
If everything you said is true, I don't blame you at all for your decision. As a pro, Chris has been a dud. At least this far. If he's had health problems like rumored, I don't blame Chris for taking time off at all, but he should realize he's not pulling his end of the bargain and bow out from your company's sponsership gracefully.
But you're dead wrong about one thing. There's no way in hell Ronnie or Jay ever guestposed in that (lack of) condition. Whatever his reasons were for taking time off, he should have declined that guest pose. I'd of been pissed if I had gone primarily to see him and he looked like that.
-

I've seen pics of Ronnie with that much bodyfat- but he still had pro levels of muscle.
Cook looked like a high school football lineman at that show. All cafeteria food and whatnot.

Yeah by condition I meant bodyfat and size. When Ronnie's smooth he looks like he could take a round out of King Kong.
-
you guys are right. i have seen Ronnie REALLY fat but still huge. Chris made a bad decision and he rectified it by refunding the promoter even though he told the guy ahead of time he was in bad shape.
He should not have done it. we all make mistakes. cant turn back time or I for one would have changed the name on the post thread. I see what you all mean but I was just trying the clear the air and say were not going out of biz even though Chris is not with us. My bad.
-
But what about your statements in the ad? They contradict what you are saying here. You're either lying here or you ran false advertising stating that Chris SIGNED a contract and had shares in the company.
Care to address that?

Interview with Chris Cook on various subjects...
http://www.getbig.com/iview/cook062106.htm
The president of Gammo-O said that you do not have a signed contract?
No - not only do I have a signed contract, but I also have a signed promissory note that that was faxed prior to the contract which was done it late September. Then everything was consummated around the 15th of October which was at the 2005 Olympia. At the Olympia, when I sat at their booth, they paid me my very first paycheck.
Muscular Development said that they do not have a contract with you? Is that true?
Muscular Development had the contract with Gammo-O. Gamma-O and I agreed that I will sell them my publication rights because at the time, I was with Weider, and in order to consummate my deal with Gamma-O, they wanted me to be with Muscular Development instead. So I agreed to the deal. Within the contract, I sold them my publication rights. In other words, they own my publications rights and they own me as the athlete for their company for a certain price, which by the way $130,000 guarantee, plus 5% of the company's growth, plus 2% company ownership, which I have in a contract. Regarding the magazine, Muscular Development and Gamma-O had an agreement in which they would give them $7,500 worth of free advertisement for the use of me being exclusive with MD. But MD also told them that in order to do that, they also have to pay an additional $7,500 a month for more advertising. $15,000 a month of advertising for half the price - not a bad deal, and I was included. Well, a few months later, Gammo-O got upset because they thought that MD was not giving them their extra $7,500 worth of free advertisement a month. So they stopped paying the other $7,500 that was agreed upon, so somewhere, it fell apart there.
$130,000??? Are you kidding me? Guaranteed a year???
Yes, and they paid me that monthly, every month, and I have the check stubs to prove it. What we did was the 5% of the company growth, was we had a deal that they pay me a little less on the monthly check and every quarter, they would pay me 5%, so it would end up being a little more every quarter, which was totally fine, because at the end of the year, I would end up with all of what was owed to me, which was perfectly fine to me.
So when MD said they had no choice but to terminate you, that is true?
First of all, MD didn't terminate me. The only termination that transcribed was that Gamma-O failed to pay me. They ran out of money. Gamma-O basically is almost bankrupt. The way the were spending money is almost ridiculous. For example, I had to meet them in Vegas to do a photo shoot six weeks at, and they asked us to meet them at a $200 a plate restaurant twice a day. It was unreal how much money was wasted. Plain and simple, they ran out of money. They started bouncing checks to me about three months before this happened, and finally, the beginning of April, I talked to them about it. They promised me that I would have my check guaranteed overnight by the 2nd of the month. When it didn't come in overnight as promised, I called again, and asked him where is my check, he said that we are not going to send you the money, because to make a long story short, we are out of money, and our investor is not willing to give us any more money unless we cut all our athletes?
They bounced your checks?
Oh yes, they bounced three checks on me, but they eventually got covered. They gave me some poor excuse that they are putting some money into a new account, so I just wrote that off, no big deal. But then they couldn't pay me in April. Later on, they sent me a letter that said we are not terminating our agreement with you, not due to your performance, but due to financial hardship with the company.
And you have this letter?
Yes, it is sitting at my lawyer's house, in a package.
Have you talked to John about this after it happened?
What happened was when that happened, they owed more other expenses. Because they told me to buy five pair of sweatsuits, tops and bottoms, and have them embroidered. Which is very expensive. And they also had me do my personal Chris Cook 'Blond Bomber' shirts also - they had me silkscreen Gamma-O on all of the sleeves on the shirts which I sell at various events. They told me they were going to pay for all of that, close to $4,000 in various expenses. They also owe me for expenses for the Ironman Pro, Arnold Classic and the San Francisco Pro show. After they told me that they weren't going to pay me my regular check in April, I asked them if they are at least going to send me the money for expenses? Well - I got into it with them and said I would sue them over the contract, so he said do what you gotta do, that since you want to do that, I won't send you any money for anything.
What is with your missing special DVD tapes?
I made a personal DVD video will getting ready for the New York show last year. I had the original at my home because it wasn't edited yet. Gamma-O wanted to use a clip of it to put on their screens for the 2006 Arnold Classic, so I sent them the tape. They utilized it, and used a clip, and they were supposed to send it back to me, but because they are pissed off on me because of the lawsuit, they are not sending it back. And that is my only copy.
But isn't there an ad stating that you have a contract with Gamma-O? Do you have a contract or not?
They are lying. Why would he even say I don't know. My lawyer has been working on putting this lawsuit together and he probably just found out I was serious about it. He is going to get sued via federal court because he is located in New York and I am located in California. Everything is in the works. My lawyer takes care of it. I try not to bother with it at the moment. I have written off the money. But every day, my image is still on their website, which is a blatant violation - they are stealing my image. They say they don't have a contract with me anymore, yet my image is there on their website. These New York guys convinced some investors to give them money, and they are pissing it all away. I can say a lot about their products, their lab tests and what is going on, but it will all come out at the end. This sounds like they are jumping the gun, and covering their ass.
Ok, enough of this. How are you doing now?
Fine. Financially, I have not relied on bodybuilding to make a living. I have my own business, and I do well. I currently am not pursuing another contract at the moment, but I am open to talking to companies about it. I know that with how things turned out to be earlier this year that I won't be able to get the right price at the moment. I have had many covers in the last three years, perhaps more than only a handful of bodybuilders. But at the moment, everybody wants to put a price on my placings, which is fair, but the same people that talk shit right now know that if I bring myself into the right conditioning with my next shows, then I won't be beat.
So what happened at the 2006 Ironman, Arnold, San Francisco shows?
You have to look at the last three years. I did the USA's, I didn't win the overall, lost the overall to Richard Jones. Took that year, and fixed my body. Did the USA's again the following year, lost the overall to Mark Dugdale. I went straight from there to the Nationals. Basically, I had a few weeks off before I started to diet for the Nationals, worked with Chris Aceto, and won the Nationals in late November. From there, I took about a month off, then started dieting again because I was competing the following May. I was doing show after show after show, and my first pro show, I took 6th place at the New York Pro. I just was starting to show my potential and my ability. But the problem was that my body was getting to the point that I was just broken down. I decided after that to take care of family matters, so I didn't train heavy for five months after that. I let my body heal completely. After that, I started 12 weeks out from the Ironman Pro, and had to go from 235 pounds to about 265 pounds for the show. I just wasn't able to get my body ready to do these shows. That's all it was. Was it foolish? Maybe so, but I am still one of the younger competitors competing in the pros. It is all relevant to things right now. I realize that if you want to be in the top, if you want to be Mr. Olympia, you are going to have to have a lot of sacrifices. You need to do things right, you need to stay healthy. The fact is, I will be ready next time. I am 285 pounds right now, and am not going to compete until next May. I am the biggest I have ever been at the moment, and will continue to grow. But I guarantee that when I show up, it will be a different Chris Cook. First, I will be rested, and second, I will do everything I gotta do to win those shows.
So what type of Chris Cook will be see next year?
My objective is to be on stage at around 260-265 pounds in the same conditioning or better because I will be more mature, and better than I was at Nationals!
-
Well well. My posts about 'gamma o' being a scam run keep on getting deleted. But now Chris himself has detailed the nature of 'gamma o'. What a bunch of lying, duplicitous, mendacious, imbecilic fools. I hope Chris' lawyers ruin them and they end up in the gutter.
-
Astounding how egotistical you are Vince.
I came on in Oct 2002. That's not being egotistical. That's just the honest truth. Ask anyone
-
I can say a lot about their products, their lab tests and what is going on, but it will all come out at the end.
Hahaha no shit!
-
I can not afford to pay someone while they are learning.
but you would have been happy to get rich off of his efforts right? Sometimes we need to take the bad with the good. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater
-
you guys are right. i have seen Ronnie REALLY fat but still huge. Chris made a bad decision and he rectified it by refunding the promoter even though he told the guy ahead of time he was in bad shape.
My mistake on the guest posing bit. Classy move on Chris's part to refund the money.
-
I guarantee that when I show up, it will be a different Chris Cook.
Good interview. Chris Cook seems like a humble, sincere guy.
However, he did commit a "party foul" by using that cliche phrase above.
Gamma-O, respond, brother! Set the record straight.
-
well, at least chris is so honest and forthright that knowing the products were crap (as he indicated about knowing their lab tests) that he was willing to continue to defraud all of us and convince us they were the best thing ever and the reason he was in top shape. so long as they paid his contract. wonderful. so everyone is mad that chris isnt getting paid, yet it is ok for him to blatantly lie to all of us and have us buy a product based on his recommendation? yeah, i get the whole endorsement deal. but if you have ethics as chris portrays himself to have, then dont accept any money from a company that is using your fans, your body, and your trust from others to profit. since he didnt need the money, as he so flatly put it. he has his own business anyway. so if you dont need the money chris, then why just continue with the lie. forget not getting paid. why didnt you, if you didnt need the money, just say, " you know, my fans and my friends deserve better than that. they dont deserve to be lied to by me. i dont want and wont accept your offer"
but no, everyone would rather that he lie because he is a pro bodybuilder and they arent held to any standards at all.

there's a difference between bodybuilders and fans.
it's analagous to the one between sharps and marks
pick your side wisely

After reading Gamma-O’s post regarding me not living up to my end of the deal. I need to let everyone know this is simply not the truth and that I gave them all we previously agreed on. The problem began when Gamma-O stopped paying their bills and their ads were pulled based on a credit decision. As far as returned calls go, I was so disgusted with the unprofessional manner in which they handled the whole situation with Chris Cook, that I had no desire to speak with anyone at Gamma-O.

monster impending litigation

Past experience has told me that if many people have problems with one person.....it's usually the one person that is at fault.
-
but no, everyone would rather that he lie because he is a pro bodybuilder and they arent held to any standards at all.
this is a point I've tried to argue before. when you endorse a product, the only thing of value you provide is your reputation. but time after time, bodybuilders allow their names to be attached to scam products. Ronnie and those life force disks, Dugdale and that hgh spray, the list goes on and on. by endorsing scam products, which ultimately will disappear from the market, you are hurting your chances to endorse another product in the future.
-
and that hgh spray,
Have you tried "that hgh spray"? It's hardly a scam, try it before you make your own set of false claims.
Mr. Prez likes to become invisible when cold hard facts are presented...
-
Have you tried "that hgh spray"? It's hardly a scam, try it before you make your own set of false claims.
hell yeah... i heard lenda murray talk about this on that hardbody radio show. think she said her and her husband feel it;s some of the best stuff on the market? lenda always seemed like a quality gal.
oh, and for this whole gamma-poo thing... as the saying goes... yu can;t do good business with bad people :(
-
Have you tried "that hgh spray"? It's hardly a scam, try it before you make your own set of false claims.
it's a scam because there is absolutely no science to back up such products that contain picogram doses of the active ingredients. you're likely to get more of the active ingredients of these sprays by riding your bike down the street with your mouth open.
and if you believe in homeopathy, it's a scam because it's a misuse of the concepts of homeopathy. True homeopathy is that the "esssence" of an element (which there is no such thing) counters that element. You would take the essence of arsenic (arsenic diluted in water so much so that there is less than one molecule per dose) to counter the effects of arsenic. So the "essence" of HGH should counter the effects of HGH, not enhance it.
if picograms of GH under the tounge is so effective, then why inject thousands or tens of thousands of time more? if less is more, why not inject 1 IU or 1/2 IU, or 1/10 IU rather than 18 that some bodybuilders do?
-
Great interview with Cook. Can you believe that so-called "prez" at Gamma-O?
I quote: "Cook NEVER had a contract with us"!!! WTF....Prez?
Poor business men derserve a poor reputation.
Gamma-O after Cook sues them:

Exactly. Homeopathy is a scam and even if homeopathy worked sprayflex would still be a scam.

Seriously, I would kill for some hgh spray that works. Is the stuff legit? I have heard extremes on both sides of it- it either works great, or it sucks.

$150 for three bottles of water? No thank you. I'd rather spend it on something like HMB. At least that feels like deca.
-

HGH is a drug, regulated by the FDA. It would be illegal for these sprays to contain a useful amount of the drug.
But sprayflex doesn't even use the words 'growth hormone' on their webpage. they say Growth + Healing. Nor can I find a list of ingredients anywhere on their pages. Are the ingredients even listed on the bottle? The FDA requires anything over a trace amount be listed.
-

You're right you spend your money on HMB and see what result you get. I'll spend my money on Sprayflex. If you don't try it, you have no grounds to speak on.
How about getting back to the topic - GAMMA-O and it's false advertising and/or it's 1/2 truths on this post.
-
You're right you spend your money on HMB and see what result you get. I'll spend my money on Sprayflex. If you don't try it, you have no grounds to speak on.
it was a joke. we all know HMB doesn't do what they claimed it did. I'm saying that when ranking scams in the supplement world, gh sprays are much higher on the list than HMB. In my opinion, spray products are the worst of the worse. It is scientifically impossible for such small doses of those amino acids and other chemicals to have any effect on the body. And you're likely to encounter much more of those ingredients many other places in your diet or in your environment.
and it's cute that you include your affiliate number in that link

What? ::) HMB is garbage.

Buttplug aka Bill Phillips used that line to sell HMB (97? 98?), therefore destroying his the last bit of his hard earned credibility.

I have to disagree with you on HGH sprays. Some actually do and some don't
I've been selling Humagro, Test-RX, & Testatropinol for 3 years (homeopathic compounds). I've gotten praises for those products for years and tons of re-orders. I recently gave a friend of mine some Humagro. Doesn't work out or anything, just swims every weekends and he's lost about 15 pounds and gained about 2 pounds of lean muscle. His hair which is fading into gray had went back to his original color.
These products have been around for almost 15 years. They've stood the test of time and etc. Homeopathic compounds work if they are formulated correctly

I can testify to the power of sprayflex. i used it and I got a monster pair of imaginary lats . . . but I also got ILS like Lift.

Not surprised.....
Glad I never invested in selling Gamma-O. I'll stick with Bee Pollen & Cayenne Pepper. At least they actually do something

I wonder if everyday that his image is on there site, does it accrue damages for the Cook case?

What exactly do they do?
Hey John, come out from under your covers you fucking weasel and explain yourself. This thread isn't going away anytime soon so come on out, bitch.
Why are you calling the president of a company a 'bitch', Vince? He has a different interpretation of the facts, and he sells products which fall under the same category as you- supplements.
-
Interesting... no contract - then why is he all over their site still today promoting their products? If he has not been paid since March, I don't get it...

Gamma Oryzanol (Gamma-O) is safe, fast and effective and made from all-natural ingredients. It works both on the outside (where size matters) and the inside (where health matters.) Gamma-O enhances body composition by increasing muscle strength while reducing fatty tissue. It also assists in reducing negative mood parameters, such as anger, nervousness, and irritability and helps combat emotional imbalances.
Gamma-O is a combination of substances found in rice bran oil. In Japan, it is a widely accepted fact that rice bran oil contains many beneficial traits. These traits have been difficult to duplicate in supplements, due to the fact that the human body does not absorb the extracts in powder form. We at Gamma Enterprises have developed a unique process of transforming the powder extract into a liquid emulsion now known as Gamma-O.
The use of herbal extracts to enhance athletic performance has been studied and practiced for thousands of years. Gamma Oryzanol was one of the first plant sterols to be studied for its effectiveness as a steroid.
The effects of Gamma Oryzanol are comparable to those of anabolic steroids and andro or
pro-hormone products. The chemical structure of Gamma Oryzanol is in 2 parts, or actually two molecules in one. The largest part is the sterol and the other is ferulic acid.

I trust you are familiar with science, if so there is no need to ask any of us to use this product before making a comment about it.
Tim's statement of fact is not open to debate Lift.
everything is open for debate, but for it to be a debate, there has to be some common framework. I can present all sorts of scientific reasons why such products don't and can't work. but such arguments seem to have no value to some people. out society seems to be truley divided between those who trust the scientific method and those who don't.

I can present all sorts of scientific reasons why such products don't and can't work. but such arguments seem to have no value to some people. our society seems to be truley divided between those who trust the scientific method and those who don't.
That pretty well sums it up.
-
I'd rather spend it on something like HMB. At least that feels like deca.
It makes me feel old that i remember that...
and spending $ on that shit >:(
-
Well...I remember this too. It was at the same time that article with Ronnie Coleman came out. The one with the headline "Steroids??? I´ve not even tried marijuana!"
-
of course spray flex is not a scam, simply because one of "lift studios" clients endorses that product...
and "lift studios" knows that all ifbb pros tell the truth!! they would never lie!!
it's a scam because there is absolutely no science to back up such products that contain picogram doses of the active ingredients. you're likely to get more of the active ingredients of these sprays by riding your bike down the street with your mouth open.
and if you believe in homeopathy, it's a scam because it's a misuse of the concepts of homeopathy.
-
What exactly do they do?
Why are you calling the president of a company a 'bitch', Vince? He has a different interpretation of the facts, and he sells products which fall under the same category as you- supplements.
Bee Pollen is a good source of amino acids and protein
Cayenne Pepper is works for allergies, fat loss, & chili recipes
He's a bitch because he came up here and told some fictional lies about Chris Cook, the contract, and Muscle Development. He sells supplements but ones with some shady claims. Something that I will not put up with. I used to sell Gamma Oryzanol a few years ago through Vitamin Power. Although they promoted it as an alternative to steroids, I didn't and promoted it for what it was. I don't use any of VP's catalogs or anyone elses. I keep my products honest and straightforward.
I recently introduced my new line of skin care and sunless tanning products. The new products are very unique in which they are infused with Olive Oil. Its the only product of this type out there essentially combining the ancient past with the future and they truly work like they are suppose to!!!!!! The details are on my site at www.caliberfitness.com pro shop. You are more than welcome to check it out.

The effects of gamma-oryzanol supplementation during resistance exercise training.
Fry AC, Bonner E, Lewis DL, Johnson RL, Stone MH, Kraemer WJ.
Exercise and Sport Science Laboratories, University of Memphis, TN 38152, USA.
To determine the effectiveness of gamma-oryzanol supplementation, weight-trained males were randomly divided into supplemented (G-O) and control placebo (Con) groups. The G-O group ingested 500 mg.day-1 of gamma-oryzanol according to manufacturer's instructions. Test batteries were administered before (T1), after 4 weeks (T2), and after 9 weeks (T3) of a periodized resistance exercise program. Both groups demonstrated significant increases in 1 repetition maximum muscular strength (bench press and squat) and vertical jump power, with no differences between the groups. No differences between groups were observed for measures of circulating concentrations of hormones (testosterone, cortisol, estradiol, growth hormone, insulin, beta-endorphin), minerals (calcium, magnesium), binding protein (albumin), or blood lipids (total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL-cholesterol). Resting cardiovascular variables decreased similarly for both groups. These data suggest that 9 weeks of 500 mg.day-1 of gamma-oryzanol supplementation does not influence performance or related physiological parameters in moderately weight-trained males.

none of this surprises me, Gamma-O was advertising with me for a couple of months and then just cancelled without notice. I emailed them two times asking why they cancelled and got no reply. ::)
-
The main thing to learn from all of this, underneath all the he said she said, is this:
Supplements are HUGE money, so huge that a NO NAME company who sells Gamma Whatever (talk about bullshit snake oil) will pay a relatively new bodybuilder 130 000 DOLLARS TO ADVERTISE IT!!...
...think about that number! And this is from a bullshit company with a bullshit product but relatively high profile athletes promoting it...unreal.
Next time somebody tells me a signed pro bodybuilder doesn't make 'much' money, I'll point em in this direction.

Those who are allergic or hypersensitive to bee pollen can develop symptoms, including pruritis, rhinitis, conjunctivitis and bronchospasm and, in some cases, urticaria and anaphylaxis. Two cases of hepatitis have been reported following ingestion of bee pollen for several weeks. Hypereosinophilia, neurologic symptoms (decreased memory, headache) and gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea) have also been reported following bee pollen ingestion.

240: We all know he makes $300 per website. Now, if you go look at his site, he has like every site he's created since starting this listed under "samples of my work". It's an assumption on my part that this is the complete body or his work, but it's probably trye since he's included shitty early sites from when he wasn't as good as he is now like Arvilla's in there. Count them up, then subtract the few that are his own (non-paid) sites, and you get like 32 or so. Multiply by $300, that's $9600. He's been at this what, a year? I'll assume he has no expenses other than a computer, which he would probably own anyway even if he weren't in business. But you really should subtract the 7.5% self-employment FICA tax he wouldn't have to pay if that were "job" income, not to mention $3600 or so a year in health insurance an employer normally provides.
Brutal lack of mentioning ad revenue, update fees, University work, my PT tech job, phone consults, and of course, welfare fraud.

ahh, and that free craig site, and the Prodivisionbodybuilding. com site sales, and other misc. webwhoring. And once a week, i stop in at my bro's shop and pick up 2-4 PCs which I fix and bill em for.
I still do $300 for getbiggers... but I do local sites, and they always pay 425 to 479, and they pay higher updating costs cause i have to leave the house :)

Is Gamma-0 the Hot Stuff of 2K? I'm still trying to find the ingredients, but they must be so top secret, not even the Prez knows or tells what's in his product. Cris Cook was the only athlete I've ever herd of and you can him ??? Must be those famous UFC guys bumped him out.

If you charged $479 for every single one, you'd be up to $15,328 per annum (before taxes). Three computer repairs a week at $50/per would bring in an additional $7500 a year.

Thanks for using Google. Now try to read what you posted. 500mg of powdered Gamma a day. As I state on the web site you can not absorb Gamma as a powder. We provide it as a liquid emulsion at 2000 mg a day using only Japanese sources. I could save 80% by using Cheese Gamma.
Ironmag.com:
What was I paying $30 per month to be on your site? I canceled it because we got no business from it. I don't owe you an explanation as to why I stopped. If your that broke I will pay you the $30 to not have my banner on the site. Stop whining.

Unemployment? Guy I'll have you know that don’t have wealthy parents. I put myself through school and I never made less that 6 figures since I left college. Broke is one thing I will never be.
All of you:
You think I am out to scam everyone but I offer a 100% money back gaurantee. Buy a bottle, take it, send me the empty and say it sucked and i refund 100% of the purchase price. Who does that?
Has Chris posted that signed deal? Yea, that’s what I thought.
July 8th UFC 61 Andrei will be sporting Gamma-O. As we still pay him. He will also be in our commercials.

It doesn't make a difference if Chris has the papers, YOU BASICALLY ADVERTISED THAT HE HAD A CONTRACT!!!!. Chris Cook only has to prove beyond the reason of a doubt that he had a contract in court and that's it. And with your use of his image in numerous places included on your website right now, I think he'll win easily.
Gamma-O has some shady claims and lab tests but I'm sure Chris will let everyone know about that too.
Now, I'm aware you problably got a loan from someone to stay in business but that doesn't mean a thing. Your business is going to go down further in the drain. The MMA/UFC pretty much has Xyience running the show leaving you to pick up puppy scraps of food.
BTW: Didn't Andrei get his ass knocked out last time??? Tell him to duck this time and not get whupped...... ;D. Oh, by the way. You may want to take you ass off this board for a bit and visit the MMA boards, seems there are some of your other "sponsored athletes" pissed off at you. I wonder why?????
-
Yes fighters sometimes lose. Have you ever stepped in the cage? I have. Until you do, don’t run your mouth. No one likes a Monday morning QB.
Research shows MMA to be the fastest growing sport in the US. Sponsoring fighters that have an obtainable build is a smart move to make. Again all business. Nothing personal.
Chris had no deal with us. We were close to signing him but we didn't. Maybe you should be his lawyer I'm sure no one else would take the case. He has an unexecuted contract. I like Chris as a person and respect him as a bodybuilder. I wish things would have worked out. It just did not fit into our business plan once the MD side did not work out.
As far as my shady lab test? That's Chris grabbing at straws. Everything we do is legit. He knows that. He also knows that I am a phone call away anytime he wants to discuss this.

Vince, you said that you are aware that Gamma-O "probably got a loan to stay in business".
Gamma-O has the resources to pay Cook 130k a year plus a few other athletes with good compensation packages, design, sell, and market a product.
How much do you suppose they were loaned, Vince?
Would you go out on a limb and say that you out-earn the president of gamma-O, Vince Goodrum?
-
You are 100% correct about latest greatest and it won't be around 5 years from now. That's what's so great about science. Things keep getting better. 5 years ago if you couldn't get an erection you got Caverject. This is a self injection into the base of the penis. Now 5 years later, instead of stabbing your dick you take a little blue pill. Ain't science grand.
Does anyone put any thought into there post or do you just love bashing everyone and everything?
-
Yes fighters sometimes lose.
John Napolitano
President
Gamma Enterprises LLC
www.GammaO.com
If you respected and liked him as a bodybuilder, you would not have came on this board and basically trash him for no reason.
As far as the contract, you ADVERTISED THAT HE DID HAVE A CONTRACT unless you need your head checked. If I was a lawyer I would take his case and add slander to the lawsuit. You have lied and manipulated the facts and to add insult "YOU'RE STILL USING HIS IMAGES!!!"
As far as shady test, do you think Chris is actually going to give you a call after what you did. Come on now.
BTW: I've stepped into the cage before along with working as a correctional officer in the "real cage". I don't watch Monday Night Football. Andrei got beat because he went in over-confident as well as being in poor shape (Must be in the water... ::).
-
Vince,
I have no idea what your background is nor do I care to have a pissing contest about who makes more money. God I hope you make more money then me. I hope you hit the lotto. Makes no difference to me. I like when people are successful and I try to help others be successful.
As for your loan question, I am not a millionare. My partner was a venture capitalist. He knew a small number of guys that have invested in our company. So far everyone is pleased with there investment.
-

Would you go out on a limb and say that you out-earn the president of gamma-O, Vince Goodrum?
Chris said Gamma-O was basically going bankrupt and I tend to believe him. Seeing as they are still running, I assumed that they may have gotten another loan or invester to stay in business. The amount of course is unknown.
As far as out-earning the president err John just to be short. I honestly don't know the finances of Gamma-O so I can't answer that. I'm sure he has other investments
-
Hey Gamma-O Prez...
I dont know shit about you and your product so I have nothing to say...but you are wasting your time having a pissing contest with Vince here...trust me! Have you seen this player on stage? You ever see his show-physique?
Will someone please post a picture of Vince's hands over head front thigh-abdominal shot?
Once you see this man...you will bow out gracefully and Vince G OWNED again in a monstrous way...
-

I didn't even bring up anything about who makes more to begin with nor do I even care..... ;D
What I know is what I've heard from you and from Chris. And judging from the comments, I feel that you are not telling the truth.
I also glad to hear that everyone who invested in your company is pleased. However, you have one mad bodybuilder and a few MMA fighters who are pissed at you. You need to address that issue
-

Another 240 account. How many of these do you have, bro.
I going to the gym, I don't have time for all this. We'll pick this up later
-
Poor shape? How could you tell? the fight was less then a minute.
as for Chris I did and do like his. Not once did i trash him. You people on the boards assume I trash him because he trashed me. again RIF.
If you are really a cage fighter I can set something up for KOTC. you interested. it could be fun. we'll work out our differences. are you a heavy weight?

Are you crazy??? I'd get my ass kicked at the KOTC. No thanks.....lol
Seriously, your problems are not with me, its with some of your endorsed athletes. I've only commented on my opinions of you which is not good. But at the same time, I'm not the one that's going to sue you as well.
-
So far everyone is pleased with there investment.
well, yeah, at $99 for a product that costs just a few dollars to manufacture.
emulsion: a fine dispersion of minute droplets of one liquid in another in which it is not soluble or miscible. mayonnaise is an emulsion.
-
I'm not 240, Vince...
Yea and you know what? When you go to the gym why dont you pick up some weights a little and if you are feeling squirley...get on the treadmill. Kno what...why dont you get on the treadmill and DO NOT get off of it until your next show!
You're quitting this argument BEFORE someone catches it and posts those LEGENDARY pictures of you on stage...and once Gamma-O Prez sees it...he's gonna never ever again sleep well at night KNOWING who the fk he was arguing with...he's gonna toss and turn for years for time he can never get back.
SUPREME self-owning, Vince!
-
What MMA fighters are pissed at me? Not a one. I keep signing more everyday.
and yea but mayo has no Gamma-O in it. To get a powder to stay in a liquid emulsion is not easy. and it cost more than a few dollars.
-

Yea, I'm scared of you posting my 2004 Metrolina Pictures when they've been posted all over the world for over 2 years now...... ::)
And next show, I have Team Synthetek in my corner this time. I'm bringing home the prize
-
To get a powder to stay in a liquid emulsion is not easy. and it cost more than a few dollars.
you still have no scientific evidence that Gamma Oryzanol is any more bio-available in this emulsion form, nor has any effect on the body's ability to build muscle.
-
Gamma-O Prez-
Contract law's complicated, so I wont get into that.
BUT WHY ARE YOU STILL USING CHRIS COOK'S PICS ON YOUR WEBSITE?
Please answer.
Sincerely,
bb doc
-
who is that picture of?
-
There was a book written on Gamma-O in the early 90's that says it would be a great product if it were not not for its lack of absorption rate. The MD did studies using it as an IV an got great results. Send me your address and I will send you the book.
-

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! You have Team Synthetek in your corner this time...ROFLMAO!!! You're....bringing home the prize...HAHAHAHA!!!
You need alot more than Synthetek in your corner, Vince...look at that shot above...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! " I have Team Synthetek in my corner...I'm bringing home the prize" WooHoo!
Post of the decade!
-
Increased bio-availability doesn't mean squat if the underlying substance doesn't do squat. ;D
well, that was the point I was trying to make, but I didn't parse it correctly
-
who is that picture of?
Thats VINCE!!!! Thats who you're arguing with! I'm telling ya...quit wasting your time typing.
Even you have to say...your products...ALL of your products couldnt help Vince out for his next show. Agree?
-

I've seen the study. The key was IV administration. From what I can tell from your web page, you're not selling your product in IV bags. Plant sterols don't survive the gut.
btw, classic snake oil sales pitch. "this study shows that our product works when taken in a completely different way"
-
Tim, I will send you the book if you're interested.
Also someone asked why we don’t make creatine. Contrary to popular belief (at least on this board), we pride our selves on only coming out with top notch products. We have developed a liquid creatine that is 100% bio available and stable with no acids. Our underlining factor is that we want to make all of our products extremely potent and absorbable. Cleary Creatine is mixed with water and is totally clear and has very little taste. I have samples packets of this creatine if anyone would like to try it I will send it to you free of charge and then you can bash it on here like you do everything else.
-
How can you say it does work when you have never tried it.
As for Vince,
Don't even bother posting. You're a tool. You're that guy in every show that people point at and laugh at. If you had just one real friend they would punch you in the face before letting you go on stage. Do you realize how bad you look? Please don't ever take anything I make and if you do, don't tell a soul.
-
Tim, I will send you the book if you're interested.
why? I just said that whether it works IV is immaterial because you're not selling an IV product
We have developed a liquid creatine that is 100% bio available and stable with no acids.
wow, you should be hearing from the Norwegian Nobel Committee for developing a way to break the laws of chemistry. Creatine + water => Creatinine
-
It's ok Vince. I think I looked bad in 2004....
-
I signing off. Have fun bashing me. I'll be back in a few days.
-
Yea...you dont have shit on Vince. You look...okay but then again after seeing Vince contest shots...the standards have been held so high nobody els can really come close to the naked eye...
No offense...hope you understand.
-
I can always handle another, enough to go around....
I like the sound of that! ;D
-
Bay why do you always have to 'gay' everything up? We all know you are too gay to function and bleed the rainbow colors but seriously...
-
well, that was the point I was trying to make, but I didn't parse it correctly
I know, but I had to dumb it down for the average poster here.
-
damn, napolitano is in some good shape.

2004 wasn't a good year and I made some mistakes. However I've learned from those mistakes and am in superior condition right now. You can come down to Boone NC in Sept and see me in action at the NPC Mountaineer.
As far as using your products, I actually was using Gamma Oryzanol fromthe company that sponsored me at the time. Obviously it didn't work so you don't have to worry about me using that shit in the bottle you sell.
I'm down with Team Synthetek now and I'm going to shock the hell out of all the haters out there when I get on-stage. I may win my class, I may not...but I won't have another Metrolina moment.
-
2004 wasn't a good year and I made some mistakes.
It was the carb timing that fouled up the Metrolina if I'm not mistaken, wasn't it Vince?
You spilled over right before the night show.
-
Vince your carb problem was you could not stop eating them. You look like you train with team DOG SHIT.
If your in such primo conditioning post a picture you fat shit.
-
Vince his huge now, he gives full credit to DC training.
His placing at his next show will be a testament to DC's protocols.
-

No, I fell asleep and didn't finish carbing up. Woke up 3 hours before the morning show so when I tried to get some in, that's were the shit happenned. It wasn't a good day.
But now I have Synthelator in my arsenal to use. One sh@# an hour before the show and people will be asking me for directions because I'll look like a roapmap.
Its just one of weapons I have along with some other cool shit. When I did the Metrolina, I was only using Vitamin Power Herbal Supplements because I didn't have a choice. Now I have more firepower in my arsenal than the Battlestar Galactica.
In 2004, Caliber Fitness was simply a store selling natural herbs and vitamins to regular folks.
Today, its the most hardcore stores on the internet. Anyone who visits my site can't deny me. BB.com, Efitstore, DPS, Netrition....they can't bring the pain. I call it "The Pro Shop" because its the only place that deserves to be called a Pro-Shop. Nobody can hold it down and keep it real like I can. And that a fact
-
What is your current height, weight, and bodyfat %?
I'm back to 212 with about 9% bodyfat since I've recovered from the flu. I'm bigger and better than ever before and I can't wait to show the haters what I've been cooking
-

Calm down, Scammer-O. Pictures will be coming soon for everyone
-
See Gamma-O, it wasn't that Vince couldn't stop eating them, he overslept and didn't eat enough.
I'm sure DC's training and dieting protocols fixed those problems.
I fully expect after a solid showing that Trueprotein may offer Vince a sponsorship. In fact rumour has it that idea is being kicked around by the Trueprotein staff.
-
Calm down, Scammer-O. Pictures will be coming soon for everyone
You said that in march of last year. 16 months ago. If you're really 9% BF, post a pic of your abs and no one will ever be able to post that metrolina pic of you again.
-
You said that in march of last year. 16 months ago. If you're really 9% BF, post a pic of your abs and no one will ever be able to post that metrolina pic of you again.
Yes and I posted pictures last year doing an abdominal shot and well as some other poses showing that I was lean. Even so, I didn't compete because I wanted to put on some more size. I had to bring up my arms to match my quads.
And even when I do post my pictures and come back cracking heads onstage , those metrolina pictures will never go away. No-one post last years pictures because they are way better than the Metrolina pictures and the haters always show folks in the worst light possible. Even you know that. Your pictures 2 years ago are still around
-
Are you shitting me? That's all? I'm only 5 lbs less that you at 8%, and I'm not even black!
That's nice to hear however I never worry about how much I weight, I worry about how much "I look" like I weight. If that means going down to 170-180 pounds then that's the way it is
-
Arms to match your quads? Goddamn, you really are delusional.....so sad
-
Yes and I posted pictures last year doing an abdominal shot and well as some other poses showing that I was lean.
How lean were you back then in those pics? what bf %?

He's trying to twist it around to me and of course I expect someone like 240 to help out. This is why I don't do business with you anymore. Can't keep your mouth shut, don't know jack about bodybuilding, and don't know when to check the facts. But I'll deal with you later.
Getting back to this thread, its all about how John Napaleon came on here, started trashing Chris Cook, and then continued to lie about numerous issues.
Fact is, he's selling a bum product, his business is close to taking a nosedive in the river, he's ripped off a number of his endorsed athletes, and he's going to get sued bigtime.
Quite frankly, he may be in good shape, he may be a good fighter. But he's still a weasel, folks.
240, are you designing a new 300 dollar website for Gamma-O???? thus your reason for jumping on his side?? Are you the new endorsed athlete for.....never mind about that.... ;D
-
It's ok Vince. I think I looked bad in 2004....
I suppose you were using Gamma-O to build your body right......... ::)
-
1. Vince has the genetics of the Pillsbury dough boy and will never be in shape.
2. what fighters are made at me? name one.
3. show me where i bashed Chris?
-
1. Vince has the genetics of the Pillsbury dough boy and will never be in shape.
2. what fighters are made at me? name one.
3. show me where i bashed Chris?
1. I do have poor genetics but you're wrong about me being in shape. Otherwise I couldn't train clients at the gym if I was in bad shape. If you're going to base that off some old bodybuilding pictures then oh well
2. I don't understand your last question, Made at me???? I think you are referring to mad at me I suppose. I would love to call names but for legal reasons I'm not going to. People around here are threatening lawsuits like crazy. But you can tell us since I'm sure they've given you a call about where's my money at
3. The first thing you posted says it all.
Fact is, you're trying to twist around things and spin them off me as a distraction. You think people are that stupid. I could care less about arguing with you and I would never carry any of your products.
So come correct and apologize to Chris Cook for your comments and maybe you can avoid a lawsuit
-
I've changed my mind, I'm going to deal with 240 right now. You wanna crack on my 2004 pictures eh. Well.... Take a look folks at this hardcore lifter and compare it to my picture...... ;D Scary thing is I'm actually bigger now.
240, I may be some 3th Tier Jr Competitor but its better than being a 8th Tier Booknerd. Now go get you fucking shinebox
-

Yeah, you look large and in charge bra.
Just curious, how did you manage to match that 5 dollar shirt with that 100,000 dollar gold rolex????
Love the belt buckle too by the way and the shades, you are one badass dude.
Monster goodfellas quote too.
-
At least 240 has muscle tone and some potentail..you have none.
Your a Frustrated bodybuilder in an little fat mans body. I feel for you.
Every fighter I sponsor likes working with me. I take them all out to dinner and or lunch and always have a personal relationship with all of them. No fighter would ever tell you something bad about me. I also train with them when i am in there home towns.
And my first post said nothing bad about Chris. I am not trying to avoid a law suit by typing on a message board you fucking tool. He has no case. Just like you have no build.
I could wake up on any given day and crush you on stage. They could wheel me out in a bed and I would still win. Let me give you some advice. People laugh at you not with you....that's bad.
-
Every fighter I sponsor likes working with me. I take them all out to dinner and or lunch and always have a personal relationship with all of them.
I'd rather have people laughing at some old pictures than ever be you. You lie and twist your words around as well as spin the main issue off on me. Its not going to work, pal. I have however given you a taste of your own message by twisting your last post around.
As far as crushing me onstage, I honestly could care less if you could beat me onstage although I do find it amusing. You can fight and you can compete. But can you pay your endorsed athletes???? Lets see if you can crush a lawsuit..... ;D
-
This is the last post I will answer from you. No one has sued me. If Chris were going to I'm sure I would have go the papers by now. All my athletes are paid up to date.
Not sure how much simpler I can make it for you.
The fact that you look like DOGSHIT and think you look great just makes it imposable not to make fun of you. I will be at the fight (UFC) next weekend. If a fighter had an issue they know where to find me. And these guys are no joke. Even I would not want one of them after me.
I will post the pictures of all my new athletes when I return.
-
I've changed my mind, I'm going to deal with 240 right now. You wanna crack on my 2004 pictures eh. Well.... Take a look folks at this hardcore lifter and compare it to my picture...... ;D Scary thing is I'm actually bigger now.

The fact that you look bad is not the issue, the fact that you had the audacity to get on stage looking like total crap is. Also, I would not say you are a '3rd tier jr competitor'...you are not a competitor at all. In order to be a competitor you must be competitive...which you are not.
-
The fact that you look bad is not the issue, the fact that you had the audacity to get on stage looking like total crap is.
Amen. What the hell you were thinking? ???
-

Wrong, and actually I have to say I'm a 1st tier Jr Competitor who's going to be competing in the open class after my next show. Its 2006 and I'm bigger and badder than ever. Come showtime I'm backing up the talk and showing the haters what time it is. You can come to the NPC Mountaineer and find out for yourself.
John, I didn't want to talk to you to begin with so I honestly don't care whether you wish to address me again or not. All I wanted was for you to come clean and address the accusations you made as well as your comments regarding Chris Cook.
-
If anyone else has issues, comments, questions or concerns I will be happy to have an intelligent conversation with you.
Not Vince.
Also I want to say I always feel bad for the guys that really dial in to a show and then a Vince shows up. Now that out of shape tool is in all the group pictures and people think anyone can be a bodybuilder. It's just bad for the sport.
-
this thread is incredible.
1. I do have poor genetics but you're wrong about me being in shape.
I thought you had stated here that you have "good" genetics for BBing? You've said that several times.
-
this thread is incredible.
I thought you had stated here that you have "good" genetics for BBing? You've said that several times.
YES !
Vince said: I have the genetics the have a great career ;D
well maybe that was his cousin ;D
-
But can you pay your endorsed athletes???? Lets see if you can crush a lawsuit..... ;D
Vince, you're not exactly the authority on legal matters here. When King threatened to sue me, we had many lawyers chime in and make it abundantly clear that creative license on a drug-using public figure, (one who involves himself in the arguments and makes threats) one year expired from the statute of limitations is hardly a case with any merit.
You spent quite some time talking about how King had a really strong case, and you really made it look like you had no understanding of how the legal system works.
Same with the Chic claims on Don Long. Vince, you ignore things like law and reason, and just base your statements on emotion.
-
240, I may be some 3th Tier Jr Competitor but its better than being a 8th Tier Booknerd. Now go get you fucking shinebox
Interesting that you use the phrase 'f**king shinebox', as you apologize up and down for your "cousin's" use of that phrase during one of the times he *borrowed* your account to melt all over the place.
Your personalities are starting to overlap, Vince. You can take a poll. There aren't 5 ppl on this entire site who really believe you lend your account out. Kind of a weak explanation for your manic posts.

You know... this is exactly what Rick Collins spoke about- using message boards to make negative statements about competitors. John is a competitor of your, and you just said:
- "he's selling a bum product"
- "his business is close to taking a nosedive in a river"
- "he's ripped off a number of his endorsed athletes"
- "he is a weasel, folks"
Can some of the neutral, unbiased educated ppl in this area chime in with whether or not VVince has outright committed libel against a competitor bu making those statements?
-
Vince, did you paid YOUR "endorsed athletes" ? :o
-
Vince, did you paid YOUR "endorsed athletes" ? :o
Of course, however some people had supplement agreements with me. They basically got all the supplements they needed for their shows in return for name and picture use.
As I've mentioned before, I'm not going to pay any athletes to endorse my company until I come out with my line of products
-

Same with the Chic claims on Don Long. Vince, you ignore things like law and reason, and just base your statements on emotion.
If King has a case against you than that would mean that Guy Grundy has a case against Vince. Vince pointed Grundy's domain name towards a Tranny site.
[Interesting that you use the phrase 'f**king shinebox', as you apologize up and down for your "cousin's" use of that phrase during one of the times he *borrowed* your account to melt all over the place.
Vince has also used the "go f**k your sister" comment in the past. Just like his "cousin."
-
Of course, however some people had supplement agreements with me. They basically got all the supplements they needed for their shows in return for name and picture use.
As I've mentioned before, I'm not going to pay any athletes to endorse my company until I come out with my line of products
Who was the WWE wrestler you claimed to have been endorsed by you? You're now saying you only paid him in supplements.
-
You know... this is exactly what Rick Collins spoke about- using message boards to make negative statements about competitors.
You can't sue people for having opinions as well as stating fact. Or perhaps you need to read Chris Cook's interview again, or maybe listen to what Steve Blechman had to say about the situation and called out Gamma-O for what was said. Or perhaps review all the studies on Gamma Oryzanol that says its junk.
There's no libel and no case whatsever, here's why
- "he's selling a bum product"-
Tons of studies prove that Gamma Oryzanol doesn't work. Its also an opinion of mine that he's selling a bum product based upon those studies
- "his business is close to taking a nosedive in a river"
Based off the information of a former employee...non other than Chris Cook. And I believe everything he's saying is true
- "he's ripped off a number of his endorsed athletes"
See name listed above, listen for new grumblings in the wind soon.
- "he is a weasel, folks"
That he is. My opinion....again.
240, you can't compare your case to mine because you went way over the line with Kamali, Shawn Ray, & Chick
-
If anyone else has issues, comments, questions or concerns I will be happy to have an intelligent conversation with you.
Not Vince.
Also I want to say I always feel bad for the guys that really dial in to a show and then a Vince shows up. Now that out of shape tool is in all the group pictures and people think anyone can be a bodybuilder. It's just bad for the sport.
Thought you were done with me, guess that's another lie....I guess everyone's used to them around here by now so I'll follow likewise
-

If they are false statements, then yes.

Who was the WWE wrestler you claimed to have been endorsed by you? You're now saying you only paid him in supplements.
My agreements with my past clients are none of your business. I'm not endorsing anyone right now and that's all I have to say on that matter

No, I pointed MY WEBSITE DOMAIN THAT I OWNED GUYGRUNDY.COM to a tranny site. It was my property owned by me at the time so no Grundy has no case or even evidence as the domain name was sold.... ;D
-
Vince would make a good tranny. He already has the tits.
I that slander? No it's not. I saw your picture and you have tits like a girl and no muscle tone. In a dress you would make for an ugly girl but you could pass.

i seriously can not believe the president of a company thinks its ok to talk like this
Be a smart man and walk away deuche bag
go hire some more 4 th rate pros to sell your 8th rate product
PS i pissed in a bottle last night if anyone is intrested in it..... it will boosted your adrenaline about 1000% when you taste it

i'll have to look into that i get royalties right? maybe and endorsemnt deal?
then when i am out of shape for a fewmonths i can fire myself and come on here and say how well the company is doing without myself

I am sure those who are neutral and have legal knowledge will chime in here. Vince, have you listened to the Muscleradio show with Larry pepe? He had on Rick Collins and very specifically broke down what happened when business competitors make statements like this in public forums.
If Burger King's CEO came out and said that mcD's CEo was a weasel, that mcD ripped ppl off, and that McD would be out of business soon, he would be committing libel. Period.
You are making all of these statements. And, your "I heard it from someone" matters nothing- They are responsible for their statements, and you are responsible for yours. Even repeating a statement makes it your own. Those words came from Rick Collins.
I'm sure your sources are believeable. but YOU are the one bashing the man PERSONALLY- and he is a competitor of yours. This is a legal no-no, and I base this upon what Collins said. If he wants to, your words are certainly actionable!
-
i dont think anyone takes this seriously. it's all good. I dont even know what he makes he competes with me. This board and everyone on it just for bashing people. I got that. Bash away. I have a great product that sells because it works

Competitor??? I don't manufacture my own line of supplements, I sell other companies products, dummy. He's not a competitor of mine therefore once again you're talking about your ass

Man, September is gonna be sweet!!!!

Yes and I posted pictures last year doing an abdominal shot and well as some other poses showing that I was lean.
Link?!?!?!?!?
I have NEVER seen a pic of Vince Goodrum anywhere near "lean"...and I doubt anyone else has, either.
-
The phrase is "Beyond a reasonable doubt" you pathetic sack of rotten turds.
Both phrases are acceptable and used commonly.
Goatboy, I sell no snake oil. If there's a product that people don't like, I refund the money and remove the product from sale. Plain and simple. I'm not bound to carry one's product anymore since 2004 when I was still under the Vitamin Power banner.
By doing things that way, it keeps business going and less headaches since I don't have to deal with product complaints

They are around unfortunately people like to post pictures of folks in the worst light possible. That's the way this board works and that's fine with me. I do have them around and once I get my multi-function printer fixed, I'll put them back up here
And once again for the last time, Gamma-O is not a competitor of mine or even close. I was around long before Gamma-O and I'll be around long afterwards.
-
Gamma O paid Cook to take that pic, its theres to use..... cook is a bum though...the great white hype..

Vince, you'll never post pics here. We all know it.
The reality is, you can get a NEW printer/scanner/fax/copier for $100. Getting a "miltifunction" fixed sounds fishy.
Getting a pic scanned and online in this day and age can be done a variety of ways. if you wanted to post a pic, you would.

Vince, you stepped onstage at a BBing show at 10% bodyfat.
No owning that anyone here delivers will ever equal the way your peers were laughing their asses off backstage at that show. And the snickers in the crowd when you walked onstage and did your posing routine... wow...
was it more of a gasp, or an outright roar of laughter? Did they applaud you?
-
I have a great product that sells because it works
Then I guess you've been wasting your money by paying people to endorse it. ::)

Actually, no-one didin't laugh at me backstage at all or snick. One thing about bodybuilding which you may never understand is that bodybuilding is a brotherhood. Nobody laughs at nobody backstage , its called respect. Besides, most of the people have seen me before anyway so they knew I fucked up something. Most people thought I had taken insulin before going on-stage. As far as the crowd is concerned, all of my friends were rooting for me and unlike you, I have a lot of friends so that's all I heard when doing my night routine which did go over well with the crowd. If you like, you're more than welcome to buy the video from Morris Productions if you can afford it.
Honestly, I can't believe I actually did business with 98 pounds or bust. What was I thinking???? Should have left you in the garbage like Oscar th Grouch. You're a geek, you don't lift weights obviously, and you're not a bodybuilder. At least Lift Studios can represent.
Keep drinking your Crystal Lite and Whey Protein and maybe one day you'll have half the muscle I have....TINY!

The separation in ur legs vince is incredible!
Serious Question: Shouldn't there be like a minimum that someone can look like before they step on stage? I would have seriously been pissed if I prepared for like 3 months for a show only for a douche like goodrum who looks like he never picked a weight up b4 in his life got on with other competitors who actually tried to look good.
There are 15 and 16 year old skaters outside my gym that look better than him.
-

2 things:
1. yes, people do laugh at others. Hopefully, they're polite enough to not do it that obviously.
2. did people really think you over carbed by using insulin? just curious...

The only way carbing-up had anything to do with his appearence is if he started carb loading with Krispy Kremes 12 weeks out from the show.
Vince, the reason you didn't hear any laughter backstage is that it took awhile to get over the stunned disbelief that your physique was not up to it's usual "Levrone-esque" standard.
Once again, Vince owns himself.

I know both John Napolitano, and Chris Cook, and I think they are both gentle men, in my book.In this industry athletes and companies have fall-outs or miss-communications all the time. There is no right or wrong they just dont see eye to eye.I know John has a legit company, because I am in the industry myself, and the guy is nice and straight up.I also know Chris Cook quite well and have competed against him at the national level, and he is also a great person. What you guys are reading and hearing is all hear say, so to speak. The only 2 people who really know the whole truth is John and Chris.I think bashing either one of them is out of line because we dont know all the facts. The reason ProLab dropped Lee Preist is he would miss guest appearences, not do shows, and wasnt living up to the end of his contract.I know this because I am good friends with Lee Preist former manager, and Cathyl Lee Priest. They both said they had to save Lees ass several times. So unless you guys know all the facts about Gammo-O and Chris Cook we have no right to judge, or even take sides.I have seen alot of positive research as well numerious studies showing THE INGREDIENTS in Gammo O does work quite well.I am not taking sides here, I am just giving my opinion from a person who hasd been in this industry 12 years. The one negative thing I willl say is this guy Vince is a complete idiot and a fool to act like he is intelligent. He is a disgrace to bodybuilding and the industry.I hope this helps give a more open prospective on this situation

He was nowhere near 10%. I'm not exaggerating in the least if I say he is about 20% in those pics. He has rolls of fat on his abs! He was at least 30lbs from somewhat respectable contest shape.

Good luck to Gamma-O. Good luck to Chris Cook. Next issue?

this is the lamest thread i've ever seen, someone put it out of it's misery.

This coming from a guy who thinks he has a better physique than Frank Zane, hahahahahahahahahaha, good luck with your worthless websites.
-
Here we go again, lol.First of all I never said I had a better physique then Frank Zane ,I said I have a better physique then you.I know Frank Zane, he had a booth right behind us at the Mr O ,last year and he kept coming to our booth and just hanging out. What I did say was that I didnt care for Frank Zanes physique, I thought there were better bodybuilders, such as Bertil Fox.I thought he should not have won Mr Olympia, but thats just my opinion.I also said my physqiue is alot diffrent then Frank Zanes, we have 2 diffrent types of body structures.Yes I am alot bigger then Frank Zane, I competed at 258lbs at 5"11 so I have alot of mass. But bigger is not always better.Brian you were the one was trying to say I thought I had a better physique then Frank Zane. You as well as I know I said I had a better physique then you,not Frank Zane.Brian if you want to step on stage against me bring it ,I will make you look like a bone rack .lol.To set the record straight, I like Frank Zane he is a great guy, I just not a fan of his physique

not only is he 30lbs overweight but it doesn't look like he has any actual muscle at all.
-
Thanks for the post John.
I only met john in person once and I would not want to step on stage next to him. When I last saw John about 3 months ago (give or take) he was about 280 and very lean. This guy has a ton of mass. Funny how all you people on this board bash everyone yet no one post a real picture of themselves.
John I will be in Vegas July 6-9th for the UFC. Give me a call.
-
Actually, no-one didin't laugh at me backstage at all or snick. One thing about bodybuilding which you may never understand is that bodybuilding is a brotherhood. Nobody laughs at nobody backstage , its called respect.
Ya you're right Vince, backstage is all about respect, but lookin' at your pic... I'm sure the others BBer's held their laugh once you walk in the pump room.
-
But then again, is this the "real" Vince that posted on this thread or is it someone else that he claims jabbering nonsense... hmmm?
-
Ya you're right Vince, backstage is all about respect, but lookin' at your pic... I'm sure the others BBer's held their laugh once you walk in the pump room.
Vince took 7th out of 8th at the metrolina.
Unless guy #8 pulled out for illness, the dude has to be the most embarassed dude on earth.
-
hahahahahaha.... Vince beat someone?... Vince owns that dude!
-
Ya you're right Vince, backstage is all about respect, but lookin' at your pic... I'm sure the others BBer's held their laugh once you walk in the pump room.
I could care less, I didn't look good at the show and I knew it but I've never backed out of a show and I never will. Its not good form.
240, If you're wondering how I got 7th out of 8th, its because the poses seen were the worst. My rear back pose and double biceps held its ground along with my calves which were still the largest onstage and it gave me a small deduction in score but it was a pitifully high score I got overall. Regardless of whether I finished 4th or 8th, only the top 3 got trophies. Everyone else got a T.F.C (Thanks for coming). I walked home with nothing because I did not present the right physique that day. The show is long over now so don't worry yourself
I do have some great news for everyone. I got a friend who is going to shoot my pictures on Sunday Morning so I'll know where I stand. I will have the new ones posted Monday or Tuesday evening. So you folks will finally see the current condition I'm in and I'll be able to put this shit behind me that I don't have what it takes to be a winning bodybuilder.
And 240, I last I do have poor genetics physically but I have great genetics mentally and I can train through the aches, pains sickness to overcome my weakness. Bodybuilding is all about how much work and dedication you put in. Hard work and brutal training overcomes all.
Everyone around always wants to talk and post pictures of my 2004 pictures, not the ones afterwards, not the pictures from 2005 but just those. When the new ones come out, make sure you post those around this time
-
Welcome to Getbig, Milky-Tits!
Yea I know.... ::)
-
John its good to hear from you, email me your number because I dont have your cell # in my new phone. We can all go hang out and raise some hell in Vegas.
One thing I would like to point out to people, now this is nothing against Chris Coook, because Chris is a great guy.I admit Chris Cook, is a very marketable athlete looks wise, but condition wise he is not.Chris is a handsome man, has great symetry, and carries a good amount of muscle. The problem is Chris Cook has never come in dry, and really hard in any show I have seen him compete in.I have competed against Chris 3 times, and even up close he is lean but never is razor sharp.Chris is one of those athletes who looks great when he is in the gym or on stage alone, but you put some one who comes in ripped like Branch Warren or Dexter Jackson he doesnt look very good.Even new pros like David Henry know if your a pro bodybuilder you have to be bone dry, and ripped.....Period.Once Chris Cook either stops using insulin, or does more cardio, he just might do some serious damge as a pro.I think Chris Cook tries to come in big, instead of coming in shredded.I also think if Chris came in at 250 instead of 265 he would look 10 times better then he has previously.Chris has what it takes to be a good pro, size and symetry wise, but he really lacks conditioning. This thread is not defending John, or putting down Chris, I am just speaking from a buissness stand point. If you dont come in hard at shows you wont place, and if you dont palce people wont buy the products your endorsing. Why does BSN do so well , Ronnie Coleman. Why does Muscle tech do so well ...Jay Cutler, Branch Warren ,Gustavo Badell, and so on.I hope in the near future Chris Cook does find the demons that is haunting him so he can come is shredded.Chris is a very likeable person who has unlimited potential once he comes to shows dialed in.But until that happens not many companies are going to put there money on a horse that never places.
-
I agree but I knew that when I started the deal with Chris. It was not his placing. When MD did not hold up there end we could not sign him. The only time his placing was an issue was when I was defending him to the investors. It's hard to explain paying top dollar for that. I thought he had a good look but not everything is my decsion.

John you as well as I know most investors dont know or care anything about bodybuilding, all they care about is the bottom line .You cant blame them with so many risky investments out there.John You have a great product and you are an athlete your self, so you practice what you preach.Investors on the other hand only look at numbers, not what might be or could be.Chris Cook be a top contender if he even mastered his conditioning. That is a big maybe, its a hit or misss.Just like horse racing ,you wouldnt invest on a horse that never won a race or even placed ,but you invested in it because it was a great looking horse.John I think MD backed out of the deal and quit his articles because he wasnt performing well.So they just wanted to shift the blame on you, how convienient, lol. If Steve Blechman is so innocent, then why did he pull Chris Cooks articles from MD right about the same time you stopped endorsing Chris. Now I like Chris, and I respect Steve Blechman, but this all doesnt add up to me .Steve Blechman why did you stop printing Chris Cooks articles? Also Steve why didnt you answer Johns phone calls. Finally Steve why are you putting all the blame on John, when I feel your not telling us the whole story? I know from the past Twin Lab and Steve Blechman havent been vey nice to athletes such as Jim Quinn,Gerard Dente and Skip Lacour. These athletes told me one day they were endosed then out of the blue they were dropped for no logical reason. In this situation there is no winners ,just a bunch of corporate B.S. John next time just becareful who you do buissness with, and next time get everything in writing when dealing with companies like MD.Otherwise bullshit like this happens, and it becomes a major headache

Steve Blechman came up here already and explained the reason and then had to correct John's statement, Gamma-O stopped sending the checks for advertising and they dropped the ads along with Chris Cook. I'm not sure how Steve could even be close in the wrong. If he doesn't receive ad money which was 15,000 a month (Very good deal for all the exposure Gammo-O got), then you gotta drop the ads, plain and simple.
MD is the best mag out right now and to lose out on advertising with them is not good. There's practically no-where else. Most mags mainly endorse their own products heavily. The only person who doesn't is Jeff Everson's mag.
If you are moving out of bodybuilding and into MMA, you better hope Tim Silva loses because if he doesn't, its going to look bad for Gamma-O.
-
Vince ,yes Steve said was he didnt recieve any money from John and Gamm O, but do you know what the exact biz agreement was?We can only speculate because we dont know the whole story. How do you know Steve wasnt giving John a trade out of free adds to cover the costs of endorsing Chris Cook? Had do you know Steve is even telling the truth? This is alll here say, but what is the true story.I know John and he seems to be a very straight up and strait forward guy ,so why would he make up such nonsense? I know from the past Twin Lab has not always treated athletes always fairly, and I have heard this from the athletes themselves.I know Skip Lacour who wrote Md and was endorsed by Twinlab and one day they dropped his adds and his endorsement without any notice .I do agree MD is the best bodybuilding magazinbe out there, but every rose has its share of thorns.I dont beleive MD is not totally innocent in this matter, and I also think its not right to shift all the blame onto Gamm O.I think what happened is Chris Cook is a great athlete but he didnt perfom as well as MD expected him to so they stopped his articles, and stopped the endorsement agreement with Gamm O.Then they conviently put all the blame on Gamma O.Like I said before I know John and his partner pretty well, and they are a legitmate company who seem to practice what they preach.

Interview with Chris Cook on all of this coming out very, very soon. The truth shall come out.
Cook's lack of a response, two weeks after we heard it was coming, makes me wonder if
1) He hasn't figured out which version of the facts he wants to tell yet
2) He isn't 100% in the right here
3) he's letting his lawyer do the talking.
-
John,
We were working on trade of ad space vs using Chris exclusively. MD made promises they did not keep. When they called me asking for more money I told them I need to work this out with Steve. I told Steve via Voice Mail that we needed to talk and work this out. It's hard paying for something and not getting it but even harder when he wont explain why. At least if he told me what he would do moving forward to correct it we would have stayed with MD.
If someone that I thought owed me money kept calling me to work it out I would pick up the phone. Doesn't make sense.
I love how Vince makes up his own facts. Just like he convinced himself that he is in shape.

I don't have to make up facts, you can go back to the beginning of this thread and Steve set the records straight about the issue. Are you trying to say you didn't the ad exposure. Steve gave you a lot of exposure and for only $15,000 a month for what you got was a bargain. Your ads were practically in numerous places in the mag plus the Chris Cook corner.
As far as being in shape, you don't know me pal one bit. I'm the person your "so called endorsed athletes" actually go to for their chemicals. In fact, you were problably a customer of mine and you never knew it. I have a number of UG sites around. So don't act like you know me, you may have bought something from me but you don't know me and you never met me. Otherwise you'd be eating your words
But getting back on track, you are lying about MD didn't produce. You got more than your money's worth in exposure from Steve and he made a great deal with you with you basically lost big-time. Not a smart move on your part. As far as a biz agreement is concerned, it doesn't make a difference. Its just like Goodfella's .....Fuck you, pay me. If you don't pay, you don't play. Now you don't have a pot to piss in.
You've been trying to act like you like Chris Cook and respect him but don't forget the name of the thread you created.

Are you implying that you sell illegal drugs?

Everyone around always wants to talk and post pictures of my 2004 pictures, not the ones afterwards, not the pictures from 2005 but just those. When the new ones come out, make sure you post those around this time
Do you honestly think that these are impressive pics?
-
.
-
He's already did the interview..... ::)
link? All I could find was the original announcement from Dec of 2005 when the two parties announced they were hooking up (Cook and Gamma-O)
Does anyone have a link to the interview Ron said would be here very soon?
-
Do you honestly think that these are impressive pics?
I think we all agree that Vince allows us more than a few laughs around here. Your avatar and jpeg titles are gratuitous and mean-spirited. Keep the fight clean, bro.
-
Vince looks like the rapper from the 1980's with those big binnocular GLASSES.I think his name was DOUG E FRESH .Vince whats up with those huge ass glasses, you look like your stuck in a time warp. You look like a nutty proffessor or a retarded mad scientist of some type.If anybody can find a pic of DOUG E FRESH the rapper from 1980's wearing his big assed glasses please post it so people can see how ridiculous Vince reallly looks. Vince have you every considered laser sugery, a pair of contacts, or even a pair of glasses they werent so big they look like coke bottle bottoms.
-
Heres is a pic of Vince as Doug E Fresh
-
I could care less, I didn't look good at the show and I knew it but I've never backed out of a show and I never will. Its not good form.
You would not have to pull out of a show, if you did not enter them looking like shit in the first place.
Leave the competition to people who BELONG on stage. You should flex in front of your bathroom mirror.............
-
If he ever got busted, he'd have the perfect defense... just take off his shirt.
"Your honor, do I really look like a guy who is around steroids?"
Bam! "Case dismissed!"
LOL!
-
Vince being the so-called nutty professior he is read on the board that pro bodybuilders spot shoot them selves to enhance muscle size in there weak spots with escalin ( I dont know how to spell it ) .So Vince being the bee pollen pimp he is went out and found a bee hive because he thinks bee pollen is very anabolic and threw a rock at it.Like he ingeniously predicted the bees came out and stung him all over the place, giving him natural "site injections".But the plan back fired because it made him swell up in areas he didnt want to such as his abs, and lips.Getting stung a 2000 times can cause alot of swelling .Thats why in his pics he is smooth and has no vascularity is because the bee stings made him hold water, and made him look puffy. Before the got all those bee stings he was totally shredded to the bone, this is a true story I tell ya, lol

Funny you should mention Doug E Fresh. He's one of my favorite artist and honestly he'd problably think you folks are a bunch of Sucka MCs
You can try to spin the subject off on me but it won't work. The fact is that Gamma-O and John have consistantly told lies about Chris Cook, Muscle Development, Steve Blechman, their financial status, and of course the product itself.
I got better things to do today. Just had my new furniture delivered. So have fun up here because you folks aren't nothing but customers to me.
-
*pssssst.... Vince.... I really doubt anyone fron getbig has bought shit from you. You'd have better luck pimping to the kids on bb.com. ::)
Lots of people from here and MM have bought supplies from me. You've seen the store. You know what I'm all about.

Why on earth would you imply you sell steroids on the net? Aren’t you a cop?
As for MD and the 15K a month it was more than that and you have no idea what a good deal is. A good business deal is spending 15k or whatever amount to get more in return. If you don’t get the ROI then it’s on worth it.................why I'm I explaining this to you? You’re a jackass.
Anyway we spend MUCH less with Planet Muscle and got much more return. Jeff Everson does everything that he says he is going to do. He is the easiest guy in the world to work with. That's why I run 6 pages a month.
Since you mentioned earlier that you were a fighter and I think corrections officer why would you not agree to a little friendly competition? It would be great exposure for both companies. I could get us a PPV King of the Cage. This is not a joke. I think this would be great. I will even put 10K that you don’t make it out of the first round.

I never mentioned anything about selling steroids now did I ???? ;D Don't worry about what I sell because chances are...you've already bought it..... ::)
And I do understand advertising since I do run ads for my business. 15k for the exposure you got on MD was a great deal. You didn't get a good return simply because no-one wants to pay 99.95 for a 30 day bottle of crappy Gamma Oryzanol. Gamma Oryzanol is nothing more than cheap rice bran oil and completely worthless for building muscle and strength.
Don't blame the advertising, blame the product.
And I'm sure you do get a cheaper price with Jeff Everson, only problem is that his magazine hasn't been popular since it was free. You're not getting the exposure that you did have.....Sad... :'( Perhaps if Jeff stopped talking about Cory all the time.....oh well
As far as fighting is concerned, go set yourself up with your own fight. You must be related to Guy Grundy or something. The only difference is that I'm familiar with your fight record so I'll have to decline a fight with you.
-
Suprise.....here it is Tuesday...no Vince pics....is anyone really shocked???
-
Vince, do you have any 'before' pics?
I gotta ask, because I was reading old threads today and someone said if you stopped training, you'd look the same as you did onstage that day. So I was curious if you had old pics. Even if you don't release them now, you could release them when you do your updated pics. I think those old ones of you will go away once you post better ones.
-
I remember when Vince said that a major supplement company was going to sponsor him. Anyone surprised that never came to fruition?
-
Vince your a complete moron, Planet Muscle is a great magazine and does quite well actually.Planet muscle was the only hard core bodybuilding magazine before MD changed its structure.I know Jeff Everson, and he is a very smart man ,Cory gives Jeff most of the credit for her success, personlly and athletically.Besides Vince Jeff had a better physique then you will ever have plus he did something every man would want to do, sleep with Cory Everson.Planet Muscle is a very imformative, and no Bull shit magazine.Vince you have no rrom to bash John from Gamma O because he is a CEO of a succesful company, your just some pee-on who sells shit out of the back of his trunk at gym parking lots.Plus Vince John is a fighter not a bodybuilder and his physique blows your away.So dont hate someone who is more succesful as an athlete and a buissness man.Vince you sound like a bitter and very frustrated person by the way you attack and lash out at people.Vince if you keep running your mouth I will give John from Gamma O your home address, and we wil see how brave you are then.I will post the beating on get big so everyone can see Vince get beaten to a bloody pulp, lol
-
John from Gamma O because he is a CEO of a succesful company, your just some pee-on who sells shit out of the back of his trunk at gym parking lots.
Gammo O is going down the tubes from all accounts...
Don't knock guys that sell shit out of the back of their trunks in gym parking lots. They are what have made this sport great! ;D
-
This is a quote from John in prev paragraph "Let me start by saying we pay all of our athletes and we have never been unfair to any of them."
Well I just want to put my two cents in and set the record straight. I was supposedly a sponsored athlete and have never received a dime from Gamma-o. The only thing I received was the junk product I never used. It is no suprise if things are declining as I know no-one who actually will pay for and use the product. I would tend to believe Chris Cook's story anyday rather than Gamma's. From my personal experience they tell nothing but lies and never come through in what they say. No you know the rest of the story from someone who is a so-called sponsored athlete.

Actually in some cases, I sell product from my fanny pack to people like you.... ;D Again, don't worry about my business. Its honest and I'm not ripping off anyone
Planet Muscle is a good read but again...its not a very popular magazine. Very few people buy Planet Muscle for whatever reason.
John may be a good fighter, he may have a good physique, but he's still a weasel of a businessman. Its only a matter of time before the spam hits the fan. Gamma-O won't be around too much longer anyway
-
PM has just doubled in size. Vince because you and your one friend dont read it does not mean it's not popular.
ozman2472 who are you? what event did I sponsor you? Speak up if you're telling the truth. Sounds like Vince under a new name.
-
ozman, really if you were ever a sponsored athlete then give your real name. coming to a board and making 1 thread i which you accuse someone of bad business practices really doesnt give credibility to what you are saying. tell us who you are, when you were supposedly sponsored, how much you were promised, what the contract terms stipulated if you had a contract, and what you did to get paid monies owed if anything. give all the info. dont just come on here and say oh yeah i was sponsored and never got paid.
if you cant or wont give the above info, STFU and go away.
VINCE- you really are a shit for brains.i tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. i tried to feel bad for you with eveyrone bagging on what a poser-ass fake you are. i tried to feel bad that nobody ever has taken you seriously. but i cant anymore. you just say too much stupid shit. you make claims based on your personal opinions. which would be ok, if they had value. but considering the package you bring to the table (fat, out of shape, bitch tits, with ZERO cuts and no noticeable change from quads to calves) you really are not one to give personal advice. clearly you follow your own advice and it doesnt work. you could possibly have the worst physique of all time. and that is being generous. cant you take up badminton or something? you are better suited physically for that sport.
-

post your name, or verify your identity with Ron, the board owner. He has an incredible reputation for discretion. If you are telling the truth, this will be HUGE. But you could just be an invention of some hater.
So verify it, please! This could be some big news! Interesting...

hmmmmmmm corruption in sports ...what next .. ::)

Ozman is either Vince in disguise, or one of his bee pollen butt buddies.Ozman there is a saying think before you talk. This is something you obviously dont practice.
Vince here you are bashing John from Gamma O and your selling supplements out of a fanny pack, at local gyms, lol.I thought selling protein out of the trunk of a car is bad, lol you probably ride a bike and sell bottles out of a fanny pack .I cant imagine buying testipropanol or humagro from some bee pollen pushing fool who doesnt even have a were house but a fanny pack, lol.Real companies that are legit like Gamma O and my company have things that we call werehouses .These big building hold lots of product and actually have people that we call employees. We supply our product to legit stores, distributors and sales reps.I know this buissness concept is foreigh to you, but Vince this is the year 2006, not 1986.Vince you need to get with the times peddling stuff out a fanny pack at a local gym is so unprofessional .You bash John and Gamma O and say your company is growing so much, well when your werehouse is a fanny pack, you need a wake up call.I would never sell a product to a person who sells shit out of a fanny pack or even a trunk of a car.Legit companies pick and chose who sellls and distributes there products. How can a product hold its value or even be considred reputable when any joe smoe trainer can get it and sell it without even having a store or werehouse?Vince its time you had a reality check, no you dont have a great physique, and no your not succesful. The good news is once this registers into your brain, you might do something to change yourself for the better, instead of attacking other people.
-
ozman = 1 post = no credibility.
people who register to jump on a bandwagon aren't that believable.
If you are real, get Ron to confirm. It'd be pretty big news, if Cook wasn't the only one who felt shafted.

I just back home and I'm not surprised that I would be hearing from you. I'm sorry but I'm not ozman. I'm sure Ron can confirm the IP address doesn't belong to me. I only have one gimmick account which is Ron Mexico and I haven't used that in a long time.
Just to let you know, although I do run a home-based business, I also have a small warehouse where I ship my exercise equipment from. However sometimes I will sport the fanny pack to handle my business if I got to. I got bills to pay like everyone else so I do what I have to do. My business is small and that's the way I like it. Allows me to do other things like doing personal training and nutrition work for people.
As far as the year is concerned, it is 1986 to me...when steroids were legal.... ;D Except this time there won't be no raids from the DEA. I'm hooking people up now with the realest shit out there. People respect the fact that I'm willing to go commando to get what they need. I'm shipping stuff in from different countries so people don't have to pay overseas fees and other B.S. So don't hate on me for pushing weight
People like me make the IFBB and NPC bring monster on to the stage. I may need to perfect my own physique but I'm like "New Kids on The Block". I alway have "The Right Stuff" for my fellow lifting brothers
Hooorah....... ;D

Oh wow Vince, you are like...so cool! You nickle/dime gear...hey you fkn HUMP...we all do!!!!! It is obvious by the looks of you like a tru buisnessman/dealer...you never ever touch what you sell. By far...you have got to be the ultimate TOOL ever to post on this forum. I am in loss for words with some of the shit that spills out of your mouth(keyboard).

Vince Goodrum, you just very clearly announced on a message board that you facilitate the movement of illegal drugs.
If you're telling the truth, your clients and partners might realize that dealing with you is dangerous... why?
1) If you're selling to them, and you're crazy enough to brag about being a drug dealer, then you're probably going to have loose lips if eventually caught and questioned. And, your announcement certainly raises the probability you will be questioned.
2) If they're legit, they now run the risk of being associated with an admitted drug smuggler, and disruption of busienss should you get arrested and stop paying your bills. Either way, if I had a client or a distributor who bragged about brekaing the law, I would run. Most people would.
If you're lying, then you are the type of guy who lies about selling drugs to impress others. And in that case, well...
*Note- this isn't a pointless flame, Vince. It's a serious statement. Romano recently said it's easier to smuggle cocaine into the country than steroids. You just bragged about your steroid smuggling- and with the political climate today and 4th amendment twisting, getting a search warant based upon your words is certainly possible.
I *cannot* see what you have to gain by bragging about this. What did you hope to gain?

Monster gyno:

Probably one of the best posts I read in a long time, 240...good job!
He just wanted all of us to think he's livin the BB lifestyle to the fullest and wants all of us to think he's cool or a bad boy when hes a water-logged, bitch-tittied, no muscle mass joke of a 'bodybuilder'. He probably never ever once sold or ran or picked up or dropped off anything more illegal than brewers yeast.
They say 'loose lips sink steroid ships'...watch him chime back in telling us he was joking and we should know by now when he's being humorous...
Either way...his post was a MONSTER shot in the foot!
-
Or he'll blame cousin zeke!!

I just back home and I'm not surprised that I would be hearing from you. I'm sorry but I'm not ozman. I'm sure Ron can confirm the IP address doesn't belong to me. I only have one gimmick account which is Ron Mexico and I haven't used that in a long time.
Ron Mexico!? I love it. Have I gotten Vince all wrong? Does he actually have an abstract sense of the absurd? Now I'm confused. ???

Hooorah....... ;D
Vince altered it to add: "So don't hate on me for pushing weight"
Vince, you're admitting to felonies here. Are you insane?

The DEA can pay a visit to my place anytime. The Feds can pay a visit too if they like. I'll even make them a fresh cup of coffee or tea if they want.
People like me know what the score is so again....don't worry about me....worry about yourself. I'm not going to prison anytime soon.
The majority of my clients have never met me or even know who the fuck I am. They simply give up those credit card digits or hit me up with that Western Union and they get their fix. They can come to www.caliberfitness.com but then they go to one of my other sites. Remember, its all about the UG sites. I have a specialized software that can produce an online store complete with Credit Card and Paypal Processing in a few minutes flat and can be locked anywhere from my laptop if there's any problems and set back up somewhere else.

I cannot believe this.
You just detailed how your operations work, and how you are able to circumvent being caught.
This has to be a joke. There is no way that a person who sells illegal drugs would brag about it, then detail how they avoid being caught on a public message board.
No way this is real, Vince. I call BS on you being a steroid dealer. No way.

That's an archive from 2004. They look way different now but the structure and processing method is still the same.
And I don't recall stating that I sell steroids...do you?????
That's the best part about it.....hahahahaha!!!!!

I bet you would call the police on me. Go right ahead.
And no, Vince, I would not. I am a strong believer in the need to legalize gear, and even though you've attempted to insult me in the past, I wouldn't want to see you or anyone else go to jail for gear.
However, if you openly brag about being a gear dealer here, I have a feeling you probably do it in real life also, to anyone who will listen. And IMO that is not bright, and that is dangerous for those around you.

You misunderstand what Vince the fool is trying to say. He is selling crap like Kynoselen, which is legal... that's the "real shit" he is talking about, it ain't steroids or anything illegal.

His words:

he also brags about using underground connections and .asp instant stores to avoid being caught. Why would he even make these hints, which are going to scare those who do business with him?
-
Vince how many personalities do you have? First you bash people for using steroids, and bragging that your natural, then in another post your basically saying you supply people with illegal gear. Most naturals I know wont even go near anabolics or even sell them.Vince there are some effective medications for the people like you with mental illnesses. There is Prozac, Depakote,Wellbutrin XL, Lithium,Lamicatal,Zoloft,Effexor, Lexapro, and Electric shock therapy.Having a extenesive backround in bio-chem I would advise you get on some meds soon.Mental illness is a serious matter, and if untreated can lead to a hard life, and even suicide.Vince I dont know if you stupid, BI-polar, or schizophrenic, but there is something seriously wrong with you upstairs.Vince please get help soon

Hey John,
Tell us about Chris Fields, Owner of KFTO Sports...... ;D

Fuck, he's even dumber than we thought..........

I used to get irritated with Vince when he would post. Now, like some others that I used to let get under my skin post, I look forward to it. Talk about entertainment. I honestly don't know where one can buy entertainment like this. Don't chase him off guys, he is annoying only if you let him be. ;D ;D

Then he told you that he wasn't born until 1955, that he didn't create shit, and that you had just owned yourself.

I also take consulting fees from big pharma, the recording industry, and big tobbaco. All four are keenly interested in what is being said about them on getbig.com.

Iron Man Mag ,so what your saying is just because Equiade has Gamma orozinal , that means Gamma O is ripping them off?So if Designer protein was the first whey Protein on the market that means every other company with Whey protein is ripping them off? Just because you have the same product or same ingredient as some one else doesnt mean your ripping them off, unless there is a patent infringement.Plus in buissness you know as well as I know competition is your best friend. If Iron Man Mag was the only bodybuilding Magazine out there then your magazine and bodybuilding wouldnt be nearly as popular
no, I am not implying that, but Gamma-O portrays it's product like some revolutionary break through with the use of Gamma Oryzanol when Equiade has been doing this for a decade, that is all.

Vince,
Craig Fields owns KTFO (Knock The Fuck Out) clothing. We hated each other for a while. We both flew to Iowa on March 18th and Fought in an MMA bout. I won in the second round by TKO. We hook hands and went for a drink and agreed that we would put this behind us and move forward with a clean slate. You can see this fight on
Iron Idiot,
Equaids has a product for horses and they just bought there company less than 2 years ago. They make there product with Chinese Gamma not Japanese. Chinese is ineffective and cost less than $20 a kl. Japanese is the purest and its over 100 a kl and I but all of it that comes into the US so no one can make GAMMA-O.
Are you really being a cry baby for the $30 a month that I cancelled on you? Talk about needing money.
-
Wow – This has got to be one reputable company when the president comes on here like this. Very professional.

You are really the "president" of a company?
All I can say is wow! ::)

Very impressive win, you basically keep stiking him. From what I heard, you had backed out of a deal with him from some fighters but if its settled then I have no further comment
As far as the Chinese Gamma Oryzanol is concerned, it is cheaper than the stuff in Japan however I believe its due to China having much more processing facilities rather than actual quality. Its possible that Japan is higher quality but the amount would be insignificant as the rice used to make Gamma is being grown in similar weather regions. Now if its creatine.....
As far as Equaids is concerned, they are making a liquid Gamma product however since I've never heard of them, I really can't comment on the company itself. Its been around for 15 years but that could be because the majority of their business is geared towards animals.
As far as IronMagazine.com is concerned, the website is popular and is constantly updated with great articles and has a number of people on their forums. I can't see how IronMagazine never brought you business because in the end its all about the product you're selling.

Hey Gamma-O guy, didn't you guys pretty much rip-off Equiade™ Inc., they have been producing the exact same product for 10+ years?
www.equiade.com/Humans.htm
Well if he did then that is great since if nobody ever copied anyone else then there would only be one of everything. Delete this post before everyone catches on that you are starting to sound like Vince.

Yes, the industry is full of copy cats, however they do not go around acting as if they invented a revolutionary new product, that was the point.
Had you took the time to read through the entire thread before posting you would have seen my post where I stated this.

Oh....the drama!
Good classic shit!

Chris was just at RING OF FIRE MMA.
-
Memories....oh memories...... ;D.
Its now called Gamma Labs and they've pretty much weeded out all of their MMA fights as I suspected 2 years ago and John apparantly either sold or made Dr Donald Orofino the face of Gamma Labs.
Now they are the official supplement for The World Series of Poker... ::)
Whoever dragged this out of the grave, put it back

I have seen alot of positive research as well numerious studies showing THE INGREDIENTS in Gammo O does work quite well.I am not taking sides here, I am just giving my opinion from a person who hasd been in this industry 12 years.

Ya gotta admit - John D (get it on NY) has the balls to back up his words with assays. Most guys won't do that.

Great post! Summarizes this thread quite nicely. :P

What do you mean? You mean he can prove his products contain what the label says? For instance that his fat burner contains real Ephedra Leaf without any active alkaloids and is guaranteed useless for anything?
